Delicious food and clean facilities. First time eating here today. Had a great experience. Staff was friendly, food was hot and very good. My wait time from ordering to food was about 30 minutes. Not sure if that’s typical, but they were moderately busy. The restrooms were also clean. I reccomend this place to anyone wanting some great American food.

Laidback country atmosphere, feels like I am at the house except I don’t have to wash the dishes when I am finished. Locally owned and operated. They employ a lot of local high school students to serve and buss tables, which I think is a great thing. I started working when I was in high school. Though young the staff are very professional and polite. I you have read any of you would know service and atmosphere can get a 5 star review even if the food is mediocre. Home Plat Grill has it all! We will be back soon.

I am a city guy, but I do love the the small town food. Home Plate had a welcoming feeling the moment I stepped in the door. The employees work together instead of assigned tables; I thought that was great, much more friendly. As for the food I had an open faced roast beef sandwich, out standing not just lunch meat. I also had onion rings which were superb. The food was so filling I did not get dessert. Friendly staff homely ambience and a clean resurant equals a return visit, you shoul too.

The service couldn’t be better. Every server is your server. They share tips & tables so, your cup is never empty & the food is always delivered hot & right away. They have daily specials/sides & good home cooking. There’s a salad bar & a good variety offered in the menu. There’s something for everyone

Home Plate is a go to local restaurant. The atmosphere is usually pleasant and the food is normally good. I would rate five stars but consistency is a bit lacking from just a couple of the server staff. By that I mean that they drop the ball a bit when it comes to order accuracy and customer care. Since the issue is isolated to literally a couple of servers, it’s not a deal breaker for an otherwise terrific place to eat locally. I return often because of the other service staff excellence. Pricing is very fair and that makes a good value for your money type situation. Do I recommend Home Plate? Well, yes! It’s homey for home town folks. I love it. Give it a try.

Truly love my first time experience! Fast service, great people, and nice prices. Home cooked meals are the best! As well as they have all their seats open! Meaning that they shields into between the botha so they are up to code with CDC. The atmosphere was even wonderful. I felt at home and happy.
