This is definitely a place you must stop by if you are in the Benson area of North Carolina. I know they have another location also guessing it’s just as good. The wait staff was kind and helpful. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We ordered the brisket, macaroni and cheese coleslaw and a salad. All of the food was delicious their barbecue sauce was also great! We will definitely be visiting Daddy D’s again.

Daddy D’s BBQ is very good and had great services well, enjoy their different barbecue sauces and the brisket was so tender melted in your mouth. I also enjoyed there selection of sides.

Don’t worry I’m a Texan searching for Rudy’s flavor and while the turkey and brisket was great without a sauce, the sauce itself was lacking. It wasn’t the flavor I was looking for. I definitely wouldn’t mind coming back and trying the other offerings, though. I definitely like the price of lunch as the fact that it includes a drink makes it a great deal.

This was our first experience at Daddy D’s, and it did not disappoint! The place is immaculate. Our server, Tara, was very attentive and friendly! She was also extremely courteous, which is hard to come by these days. Our food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the half chicken dinner! Best BBQ in Johnston County in my book! Get the pork rinds! You will not be disappointed! Priced perfect for a family dinner.

Really great bbq. I got the burnt ends and brisket combo. Delicious. Mac salad was great, potato salad needed salt and pepper, it was quite bland. The “hot” sauce was mild at best, but tasty.

Went here twice, in the last week. First time, they gave us the wrong meat than we ordered. They sampled us pork, and was served beef. The food did not taste like any one knows how to cook southern style bbq food. No flavor, or wrong mixture of flavors. Too much sugar in the sweet tea. Portions were very small for the price. French fries were absolutely deplorable, old and soggy, redipped. I can not even believe they plated this food and served it to me. This was a Twelve dollar meal with a drink………
