This place was surprisingly good! We don’t go to Ogden much, so just picked a random place nearby. Usually sushi joints that have a 50% off thing going all the time make me suspicious, but this one was totally fine. I wouldn’t say it gonna save you any money though, the listed prices are way more than you’d usually pay for sushi, so the 50% off just brings it down to a reasonable price.

I’m giving 2 stars cause I didn’t get sick, but the whole time I was eating it was on my mind. To say that the ingredients here are not fresh would be a gross understatement. Fried items like the shrimp tempura were cold and had clearly been made hours or even days prior to being used in the rolls I ordered. I am from an area near the sea where locally sourced fresh fish is easy and inexpensive to aquire. As a result my pallet for fish is very picky. So I try not to judge the sushi on the fish unless it’s really bad. Rather I am a harsh critique of the rice. Rice is easy to get and there are machines that make sushi rice. The rice here is very bad. It manages to be soggy, but also crunchy. They use a bit too much of it too. This place should consider becoming a poke bowl spot.

Wow. Just wow. Went through the drive through this evening and ordered 2 rolls. That’s it. Just 2 rolls. Was not busy inside. Did not order a Vegas roll as one of my rolls but received one anyway. Waited close to an hour in the drive through for 2 rolls. 2 ROLLS. They charged my card $30 and told me a different number, but my bank showed as $30 for 2 ROLLS. Did not even receive one of the rolls I ordered and got one I DO NOT care for. They wouldn’t even answer the phone or talk to me. Just said, “have a nice day” and that’s it. I’m the photo it looks as though someone spit on the Vegas roll as well. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. there is a lot of better CHEAPER options when purchasing 2 ROLLS in Ogden. Don’t waste time sitting in a drive through or money. Wish they handed me the receipt I asked for but wouldn’t. Most likely because they over charged me. What a terrible place that used to be good.

This was the first time trying this place..We had 2 lunch specials: asparagus roll, shrimp tempura roll and Alaskan roll. My wife had the spicey tuna, Philadelphia roll and spicey scallop roll..We also got one hot and sour soup and salad all for under $25…It was fresh and delicious..Was not expecting the amount of sushi we got but we are not complaining..We totally recommend this place and we will be coming back..

So delicious Japanese wasabi, is an excellent restaurant, it’s kind of like those hole in the wall place that you might think twice about going to but once you’ve been there once you’ll be hooked for life. We live in Washington and you can’t get Sushi this good for 4 rolls for under $65 and we paid 25-30 less than that for the same if not better quality. I highly highly highly recommend this restaurant.
