It was ok but the food wasn’t that great. Service was ok as well. Barely any vegetables in my wonton soup and i recieved saltine crackers for my soup instead of fried wonton strips, the wonton wrappers were too thick. i also got sesame chicken it didn’t taste like sesame chicken it was orange chicken but with sesame seeds on it. The egg roll was also weird and tasted like it had allspice or cinnamon in it which i have had before but personally i thought it wasn’t that good that way.

Save the photos cause their false. I paid about 15$ for the so called special soup & it barely had chicken or anything else in it. Sizzling rice soup that is. Their is nothing Chinese about this place but the owners. I cook it better. Waste of tile & most of allll $&&&. Don’t know why u still exist!

Tried for the first time tonight and got carry out sweet and sour chicken. The food was ready in under 10 minutes and it was great! Prices are very reasonable and service was friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a very small child. The owner is so sweet and wonderful. I have been to other Chinese restaurants and this is hands-down, the best. I will literally drive 30 minutes to eat here now.

First time here and won’t be back. Ordered the General Tso chicken. I could not imagine a more tasteless Chinese dish ever, absolutely no flavor at all in the rice or the sauce for the chicken. I could have made something better at home. For those that like this place great, I’ll never go back.

I’ve always loved this place but they’ve changed a few things. I believe their combo meals are now dinner without soup, egg roll, crispy noodles which are all amazing so it was a bit disappointing this time around when all these things weren’t part of our dinner. Ordering them a la carte is definitely going to up the total bill.

My family and I just came in for a later lunch. The place looks like your traditional Chinese cuisine sit down restaurants which made it more comfortable. The staff was very nice I should have gotten her name for next time. We ordered our favorite dish Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Sesame Chicken with Fried rice, Green Beans with Garlic and Black Bean Sauce and Vegetable Lo Mein. We gobbled everything up with a bit of Lo Mein left over. We will definitely be back as we were happy with everything. I should of taken pictures but we ate too quickly lol

This is my favorite local Chinese restaurant. I have had many different dishes here. My favorites include, pepper steak, fried rice, almond chicken, beef or chicken subgum, sizzling rice soup and the best egg roles in town.

In my life Saturdays are set aside for Chinese. Originally being from Rhode Island growing up we had GREAT Chinese food but having lived in Florida for the last 8 years we had BLEH Chinese food. Moving back up north I was excited to have GREAT Chinese food again as everyone says “Nothing beats Chinese food up north!” As I said, I am newly moved to Michigan so I was on the lookout for the best Chinese food in Troy and so to Google I headed. New China was the second place on the list with a high review count as well as a high rating and was located around the corner from where I am staying. I called in an order and at first was taken a back because the lady on the phone just answered with “Hello” and I thought maybe I had called the wrong place but once I asked if this was the restaurant she said yes and asked what I wanted to order. I ordered General Tso Chicken combo for myself and sweet and sour chicken for my boyfriend. I picked up the food about 20 minutes later when she said it would be ready for pick up. Pick up was easy and hassle free. I got the food home and was excited to try Chinese up north once again. Sadly I was thoroughly disappointed. When ordered the woman asked heat level on my General Tso Chicken and I said medium. There was NO heat at all and to be honest it didn’t have any flavor what so ever. The rice was also very bland and the egg roll was stretchy and very salty. The sweet and sour chicken was sitting in a pool of red jello as the sauce was extremely thick and had already became gelatin. This plate as well lacked flavor and was pretty bland. I had high hopes for this place from all of the other great reviews but I was sorely disappointed. I will continue my search for great Chinese in my area.
