Mediocre experience. The carnitas was tasty but the rest of the food was bland. The portion was small for the price. Other reviewers raved about the salsas but there were only 3 to choose from and all 3 were kinda bland. Served on a paper plate. Kind of disappointing overall. Would not return.

Fresh Tacos with selfmade tortillas, friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Got the fish, shrimp and chicken tacos. It was delicious. In a town where there are not many (good) options to eat, it was a pleasant experience to eat something that fresh after a few beers at de Garde Brewing.

Pretty good food. Rice and beans were typical. Beef tongue taco had good taste and they were full. Horchata was great! Girl taking the orders could have been a smidge more pleasant.

Everytime we are on the coast we stop in at Maria’s for lunch. We have lived everything we have tried, but the go to favorites are the burritos. My kids declare them the best bean and cheese burritos ever. And we lived in California so we have tried burritos. They also have a green creamy salsa thing that we can not get enough of. I highly recommend and the price cannot be beat.

Super friendly staff. Clean inside. Ordered a marinated pork burrito. It was good. Some crunchy pork bits – but that is a sign that the food is real! Flavors were authentic and not ‘Americanized’ – as in no globs of cheddar cheese and sour cream in the traditional burrito. Medium and Hot sauces were both good, not super hot, but hot enough and with good flavor. I did not try the mild – but I should have as it looked good as well. I’d go back again for sure if I was driving through town at lunch/dinner.

I called ahead. My orders was ready when I got there, warm and complete! Good food! Carnitas was a little blan for my taste but plenty for a serving.
