If you want to step back in time a feel the charm of Deli life the Groucho’s is for you. It has the best sandwiches I have ever tasted but not without the “special” sauce. I tried the sandwich without it and it was great then I dipped it in the sauce and it became phenomenal. You have to dip not pour otherwise you will drip all over yourselves. They have their own chips which are serves with the sandwiches and tell the story about the deli on the bag. It is constantly hopping in there but there is plenty of seating and pleasant staff on hand. Might be a bit difficult to maneuver around with mobility issues. Street parking and can be very busy to find a spot so some walking to the deli will be required.

Me and my family stopped in for lunch after a haircut at the barbershop next door. We sat down and noticed the table was a bit sticky. To be fair it could have been the people who were there before us. The waitress came and took our order and made recommendations after we told her it was our fist time visiting the restaurant. The food was great! The only thing that could have been better was if the wait staff was more attentive. It was lunchtime and they were pretty busy, but our waitress walked by us multiple times and didn’t ask if we needed anything, and we definitely needed some drink refills. Definitely try this place out if you’re in 5 points.

Fabulous hole-in-the-wall old school sandwich shop in a great little area of Five Points. Stopped here after a tour of USC and would highly recommend it. Is this a 5-start place compared to a $100 meal in NYC? No. But for $22 we fed 2 people which is pretty damn hard to do in the year 2023. For what it’s trying to do, fabulous.

This was my first time visiting Groucho’s and I was totally impressed. The cashiers were wonderful and friendly. I ordered the turkey sub around 10am and didn’t get a chance to eat it until around 2. I was impressed because the bread wasn’t soggy and the sandwich was amazing. I will be back again.

best greek salad i have ever come across. I think they call it Arcadian salad or something? always comes with lots of feta and crisp cucumber everytime. pickle slices are delish. order never came wrong. I ordered the potato salad one time but didn’t try it. but i’m sure it’s fine and I was just having a bad day where it didn’t sound that good after all because some days i’m like yea a potato salad sounds good but other days i’m like absolutely not get that away from me because I didn’t really like it as a kid. anyway. end of review.
