This place blew whatever expectations I had out of the water. The food was absolutely delicious and super tender. We ordered a huge variety to include: Beef Brisket, Bear Balls, Ribs, Mac Attack, Cole Slaw, Buffalo Wings, and Baked Beans. We also ordered some drinks from the bar: I got the boozy b*tch. None of the food disappointed and partnered with the beautiful atmosphere it was so memorable. The outdoor area was full of fun games and a beautiful fire pit area. We are only here for one more day and we will definitely be back before we leave! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Food was delicious!! This salad is the BBQ Bacon Ranch with Brisket, highly recommend! Staff is friendly and courteous. It’s not a problem but you should know there is no table service. However, our order was ready quickly and correct. Our visit was delightful! Will definitely be back!

Went here on a Sunday afternoon as soon as they opened. I got a three meat combo – brisket, ribs, and Texas sausage. The ribs were good. The brisket was ice cold and so was the sausage. Which was surprising as they only opened 20 mins before we got there.

Soooo good! Better brisket than the other local bbq places. The Texas sausages were so delicious.. with cheese in them! Great drinks! They have drink specials on each day of the work weekday. Definitely coming back.

The bbq is legit. The burnt ends are super tender .. the sides are amazing too. Cheese curds have a great kick. The bear balls are interesting – cornbread Mac n cheese and meat deep fried and smothered in cheese.

The best brisket I’ve ever had. It was .list, smoky and so flavorful. Signs around the place ” no smoking, unless you’re a brisket” remind you to order this! The operation is efficient and casual and fun. We loved all our choices and sides. There’s also a bar and soft drinks. Really enjoyed this gem!!!

I’ve frequented this spot on my visits to Asheville. Good BBQ and fun place to hang out. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is the folks inside the food hall aren’t very nice or helpful, sad to say.

If you are hungry for barbeque then this is the place. You will not be disappointed. There are two bars, fire pits, indoor and outdoor seating–a unique venue. The brisket was tasty and tender.

We took a daytrip to Asheville and decided we wanted BBQ for lunch. I searched for something within walking distance of where we were and Bear’s came up. I’m so glad it did. The people that work there are so helpful and friendly. We decided on a 3 meat plate with 2 sides to share. We got brisket, burnt ends (can’t have enough brisket), and Moink balls (meatball wrapped in bacon)! For our sides we picked mac and cheese (really good) and broccoli salad (needed some type of veggie, and it was very good). We also got a piece of cornbread with honey butter and a huge chocolate cookie that we had to take home along with half the food we didn’t eat!
