Dirtiest Waffle House I’ve ever entered. I understand some clutter and mess if you’re busy, but you weren’t busy, and no one seemed interested in cleaning. Lots of trash on the floor, and the front of the waffle station was crusted with dried batter. Both of us ordered 2-egg breakfasts. Only one of us got the right meat. And I had wanted grits instead of potatoes, but I was told they weren’t ready. It’s disappointing when you’re on the road and expect the familiar comforts of Waffle House only to be let down. Hopefully the next visit will be better.

Our waitress greeted and attended to us immediately. She was prompt, served us hot fresh food with a smile. In and out in 30 minutes. Grain Valley Waffle House was a clean store too.

Worst of all the waffle houses in the area, ehich stinks cus it was the best when Mary still worked there. Went in and ended up just leaving cus the service was so bad… again. The icing on the cake was the fact that the 2 younger servers went out back to smoke and definitely did not wash their hands. Combine that with the cook who was very clearly stoned, and we went ahead and just left. Service, cleanliness, and being friendly matters.

My husband and I just had the best experience at the Oak Grove, MO Waffle House! Alice was so nice/friendly and cheerful. Her service was excellent. She gave great hugs too. We ate traveling from NC. Service was very slow because NO ONE would clean off tables. Our server was obnoxious. She was screaming orders and talking to customers way too loudly. The floor of the kitchen/cook area was disgusting. This is one WH I never eat at again.
