It’s really ugly the way they try to rip you off here. They say the menu prices have changed and use that as an excuse to try to give you as little as possible for as much as they can charge. Why can’t they print new menus if the prices have changed? I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I feel like I have to give a bad review as an obligation because of how stingy and dishonest they are here. It’s very dishonest and on the level of thievery to try and charge people absurdly high prices and then hope customers won’t notice when they’re not even given all the food that they’ve been overcharged for. If there’s any justice in the universe, this place will go out of business because of all the customers they’ve ripped off here.

Getting a pizza at Vera’s renewed my faith in humanity. All of my credit cards kept declining which didn’t make any sense because all of my cards have money on them. I asked how much was the pizza so that I could go to the ATM and the husband and wife team (owners) said don’t worry about it, just pay it on Monday. Wow! These people didn’t know me from a can of worms. Have never met or seen me before.

The lady vera started screaming at me and my boyfriend because we told her she forgot the buffalo wings we called and ordered for pick up they even asked hot mild she came around the counter as if she was going to assult me I asked her how am I still charged for 40 for a medium pizza and 10 wings I’m thinking it was 40 for 20 wings and a medium pizza they charge when they feel like it

Quick update: owner just called me back, the female, asking if I still want my food. I said no, I cancelled the order, and she starts YELLING at me and saying she was trying to be nice by calling back and offering but never mind now. Hopefully they’re not in business too much longer.

I have been dining at Vera’s for years. Vera has the best chicken cheese steak, made with real chicken. The pizza is delicious also and as another reviewer mentioned, my food has never been cold. Great quality service!

I ordered a chicken cheese steak which was $8.50 on the menu and was charged $15 and some change. So I called them back and the lady gone say we chang or prices, but it doesn’t reflect that on the menu. They always over charge when they feel like it. They will NEVER GET MY MONEY AGAIN.

This has been one of the worse experience’s I have ever had with a restaurant. As I write this I am furious and in tears. My food was delivered to the wrong address. I called to speak to the owner hoping she could have the driver pick the food up from the wrong address, and have a new order delivered to the right address. The owner kept yelling at me after I begged her several times to please stop yelling so we can find a solution to the problem. She continued to yell, after I calmly explained the issue and even told her the resident’s at the wrong address had the food untouched and was awaiting them to pick the food back up. She told me she was not issuing an apology and has never had this problem out of the fifteen years she has been in business. She put the delivery driver on the phone with me and instead of him admitting he made a mistake, he stuck to his lie and hung up on me. I never once raised my voice, got belligerent or rude. To be treated with so much disrespect from something that was not my fault is hurtful. I will never order from Vera’s again. They were so rude and unkind that I doubt they care to lose a customer. They are horrible!

This place is absolutely amazing!!! My boyfriend and I order from here all the time. For the price you cannot beat the quality of the mean. It exceeds expectations every time we order!!! The staff is awesome and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to know what good food tastes like!! Keep up the amazing work!
