Price was way too high for what you get. For the price I could have drove to Lexington and back for the same meal with better flavors and half the price. For the money you would think they wouldn’t use frozen fried green tomatoes but non the less they do which makes them more breading than tomato and overcooking them at that. Couple that with a 45 minute wait for a salad and a medium rare 40 dollar steak that was over cooked and then served cold I won’t be heading to this place again…. worst 80 dollars I’ve spent in a long while.

My husband my son and I came down to Nellie Burtons from Nicholasville to watch a basketball game and grab a bite for dinner on a Friday night. Although it was pretty crowded, we were seated quickly. We love that every seat had great access to the TVs. We also loved that the menu was not a traditional bar and Grill menu, but a little bit “fancier.” (But not too fancy.) for example, the fries that my son got with his chicken tenders, were seasoned and they were delicious! I had a cheese burger, but it had Swiss cheese and sautéed mushrooms. It was done perfectly and was juicy and delicious! My husband got a lent friendly salmon burger that he ate every bit of even though it was a huge portion. Also delicious. The service was impeccable and super friendly. The atmosphere was fun and lively, without being too rowdy. Perfect alternative to going to lexington. We’re so glad we visited and we will definitely be back!
