Seems like the local hangout for Cal City…. Was moderately busy when we stopped by. Waitress/service was wonderfull. Food/tacos were tasty. Not your ritzy 5 star restaurant but it’s nice.

Stopped here on a road trip. Very good food. Not cheap, but worth the price. Had a steak and eggs burrito that was great. Crispy hashbrowns with moist eggs and steak. Breakfast served all day.

This little take out place, located on Cal City Blvd. has a verity of menu items, however I always order their “Hard Shell Tacos” with shredded beef. They come 4 in a order. I usual get them a la carte, but I think you can also choose to have them with rice and beans. My husband loves their double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a large Dr Pepper, however for breakfast he likes their breakfast burrito. My Son likes to order their “Carne Asada Fries” which come in a large square container and is very filling. But these fried tacos are really tasty… Give it a try. We like to call in our order before hand, then drive down to pick it up. Staff is friendly, we’ve never had a problem with incorrect orders and have been mostly satisfied with everything we’ve eaten from there since they been in business several years now. Prices are a little steep, but I guess that’s been our reality for the last few years, no matter where you go, it seems. Other than that. It’s your average food place.

We came to Mr Tomato after hearing several comments about it being good… to our disappointment the food was disgusting. Got a breakfast burrito steak, the meat was hard and dry plus the hashbrown seemed like it was old and not fresh at all, but really hard… carne asada fries fully loaded was nasty as well. Dry and and cheese was all hard. It looked like they had it made already and just warmed it up. Feed it to my dogs. So it was not a total waist.

Yum! New to town & glad to have some comfort food nearby. The french toast breakfast is so good! Fresh & hot. Burgers are really good too! Very nice & welcoming ladies as well. I’ll definitely will be back! Can’t wait to try more!

Their polices are dumb as far as taking your credit card information over the phone. No sane, financially responsible individual is going to give their credit card information out to an low budget restaurant. A few are the employees are really nice, however, most of them have an attitude. The last few times I’ve been in there, the restaurant was empty. I just came out of there and it was a bunch of unattractive, overweight employees sitting around talking about other people and thier “ugly babies” this will be my last time visiting their establishment.

Over priced!!! This is a receipt on how they charge my wife got 3 street tacos 3.99 a piece. And I got hard shell with was the 5 something. We proceeded to ask the lady why they charging us this much, she couldn’t explain why. Oh we also got 2 jarritos. So we are still confused on how they charge. It’s no biggie. They got one star cause they didn’t explain the charges. Haven’t tried the food yet but, they already messed up with me.
