Great atmosphere and even better food. Make sure you make a reservation. The food is a little pricey but is well worth it. Add this restaurant to your list. Hard to find menu so I took pictures and added them on here. No longer have sushi.

We were met with nothing but attitude and unacceptable customer service. Hostess greeted us with we’re full inside you can sit outside. I suggested the 2 open sitting spots at the bar she hesitated but eventually gave us the ok to sit there. As we’re waiting the bartender eventually turns her attention to us doesn’t even say hello and asks what do y’all want to drink? We responded saying two beers please and got served two warm beers. When we informed her of this her response was do you want a glass with ice? I had her take it back and ordered a mix drink instead. Her response was the Parton bottle hasn’t been opened do you want another tequila? Unbelievable! Our food arrived and it was absolutely delicious. To the owner and/or management your bartender and hostess needs to go or at the least be trained on how to provide great customer service. They are the only reason we will NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is a beautiful gem in Port Aransas. The food was so yummy. Pictures include the lamb special and the shrimp and quail appetizers. It’s a breezy outdoor patio that is dog friendly and has a beautiful sunset. I recommend that you make a reservation this place can get busy later in the day. They can only do party’s of 6 and under but the atmosphere is worth it and that definitely helps keep this place as spaced and the experience as personal as possible. The staff was amazing, Tom gave great recommendations on how to get the special cooked ( medium rare) oh my goodness it fell off the bone and he had us laughing and enjoying our vacation all the more after a day on the water. I will 100% be back. I also loved that a lot of locals were walking in as we were leaving and they knew our server by name. This makes me feel like this is a every time experience. Can’t wait to try the creme brulee and the tuna martini next time ( tables near us recommend or ordered and you could hear there love) could not say more good this about this place.

You should definitely make a reservation if you plan to go during a busy time. The food is amazing, absolutely worth the money. The view of the bay is stunning and the breeze makes it comfortable even in Texas July heat. I really hope to come back again next year. Do yourself a favor and save room for desert.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The sushi was so fresh it melted in my mouth with flavors and textures that were incredible! The Sushi is handmade by the owner herself and I must say she is a Goddess! Great atmosphere as well! Took dessert to go for the beach! #AMAZING

My wife and I enjoyed dinner here with my parents and my mother-in-law. It was a wonderful meal and time with family. We always enjoy coming to The Phoenix when we come to town. Thank you, Thom, for your great table service!

Go sit at the bar and order your food. Tom is AWESOME! My wife and I landed there after some searching, and on recommendation from a local real estate agent.

I seldom give 5-star reviews. This is close. The restaurant is very cozy and the staff makes it a pleasure being there. The food is creative and tasty. They have a good bar, with an entertaining bartender. They unfortunately did not have the flounder that I wanted to try, but the grouper was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

No sushi. Food was good but we came for sushi- which was previous rated as “best sushi on island” ♀️ very small, and kind of uncomfortable. The food though- delicious. Service- fantastic. The reservation thing- makes it seem kind of “exclusive” or hoity-toity. But again, looking for good food, yeah- they have it!

Extremely disappointed. We live in Port A and eat at this restaurant often. I made a reservation for a party of 4 and then called to add four more people. I was told by Miranda that it is restaurant policy that they do not seat parties of 8 even though we have recently eaten here with a party of 8. Miranda told me the most they can seat is 6. I asked if we can have a table for 6 and 2 additional chairs OR for two tables for 4 OR any other exception to be made for locals trying to enjoy one of their favorite restaurants. I was met with nothing but attitude and unacceptable customer service from Miranda.
