Five stars for the owner’s hospitality because he was very kind and quick on conflict resolution. The place is beautifully decorated if you are looking for instagram worthy shots. Food needs a little bit more flavor but that’s for the chef to improve.

Got the lamb shank over rice, wasn’t expecting gravy but it was delicious. Not Afghan style, but it was a desi style gravy which also worked. Food took some time to come but overall great for the portion and price. 9/10 ⭐️

I was so impressed with my food this evening! I tried the mix grilled, lamb chop, pakora, keema naan and Peshawri naan. i and my friends finished whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the short amount of time it took to receive it.very friendly and welcoming owner.

I was introduced to Bakhtar by some friends who order out from there regularly. The food, the owners and the location are are wonderful. Fairly priced and expertly prepared Afghani food. I look forward to returning for another kulfi ice cream flavor and to try their lamb chops.
