Contributors edit July 2023. This Dunkin Donuts, located within Clifton Plaza Shopping Center on Route 46, was perhaps the best of all the Dunkin Donuts in town for a sit down nosh. It had a very pleasant environment. Not anymore, as a recent negative experience has considerably soured my view of this store. Their scanner supposedly malfunctioned, causing my Dunkin Donuts Rewards Points to not register on either my receipt or my app. To compound the problem, the counter lady then rescanned my app FOR THE ORDER OF THE MAN BEHIND ME WHOSE ORDER WAS ONLY HALF OF MINE LEAVING ME BEREFT OF HALF THE POINTS I WAS ACTUALLY ENTITLED TO! It took some 7 minutes before the issue was finally resolved to my satisfaction. I left WITH my points, and WITHOUT any more trust in this store.

I am a frequent customer. However they definitely lost my business. I went in one night and had rude customer service. The person working wouldn’t finish taking my order before moving on to the next person. I haven’t even paid for my order yet and yet they are taking other people orders. And when asked about it the lady was rude about it. I asked for her name and she yelled at me saying I took a picture of her when I didn’t. Asking me to see my phone which was so unprofessional of her. Definitely not coming back and that girl should be fired. You should never argue with a customer.

The mobile order was ready as I walked in the door. The in-store purchase, a specialty drink, with all of the whip cream and toppings you can fit, looked exactly like the photo and was quite delicious. Today’s visit was both efficient and decadent.

What a horrible experience this morning. Ordered 2 lattes, was told nothing, standing waiting for 15 minutes, asked the status, was told one more minute. 4 people standing around a latte machine in the back with blank stares on their face clearly there’s something wrong with it (which would have been fine had they not lied about it and strung me along for 15+ minutes). I requested a refund so I could leave and upon doing that, the employee reveals that the latte machine is in fact broken. The woman then has difficulty processing a refund on the system. A nightmare. Never again.

The other day I ordered coffee, when I got my order it was incorrect. I went back in and told the person who made it. The shift manager came over and proceeded to tell me I was wrong. I understand flavored drinks are sweet but you could taste the added granulated sugar which I did not ask for. The manager was yelling and very argumentative repeatedly telling me I was wrong and he was right. I left with no refund or coffee. So they took my money yelled at me and didn’t give me a coffee that I paid for. I called corporate and they said I would here back. I have not heard back, it has been several days now. Not good customer service at all!

I ordered through the app and had an unexpected emergency and was not able to go pick up my coffee. I went the next morning and showed the manager on scene my order history and was very understanding. He fulfilled my order with a smile. He didn’t know I was a regular customer and very happy with my order all the time. If they had a drive through in this location it would be perfect. But overall it’s clean and quick.
