My first time coming here with a friend. The service was kind and attentive. The food was really, really good! I got the philly cheesesteak with a side of Mac and it was bomb. The Mac and cheese was super cheesy, creamy and packed with flavor. The philly was pretty good. It even had a hint of sweetness, which I love.

C’ mom Newks, we didn’t drive across town to get two salads full of soggy, wilted brown lettuce strategically buried under otherwise tasty toppings. So disappointed. This was clearly sub-par, yet was served to us anyway. The soup was pretty good and Mac n cheese was tasty, but I doubt we will come back to this location

If you’re looking for something different this is good. Not something that was on the WOW factor. The cheese steak sandwich was alright but I’ve had better. My Broccoli and Cheddar soup was good. My son got the Shrimp PoBoy and I gave him my cheese steak instead. He also had the macaroni and cheese which wasn’t good. He said the shrimp PoBoy had no flavor that he could only taste the tomato and lettuce. Sorry to say but we don’t be coming back. For the price of $37 I was expecting much better. For this price we could’ve went across the street to Olive Garden and had better. We were trying to find something light and good for a good price. We didn’t find it here unfortunately. The appearance was nice but the taste was lacking. Oh well. You won’t know until you try it yourself. This just wasn’t something that we would want to come back for again.

I mean all around just a rough experience. We ordered online for pickup which is fine. I walk in, nobody will talk to me and most employees are hiding far enough away from the counter so they can’t hear me. Food is below average. Probably won’t go back. Corporate should do some type of quality control. Employees didn’t seem to care. The register situation in this store also doesn’t make any sense. In addition there were only 2 tables sat for dinner at 7 P.M. on a Monday night so maybe I’m not the only one who isn’t crazy about this store.

Very kind staff and great manager. We arrived 5 minutes before closing due to us not knowing actual closing time. Despite it being so close to closing, they said they could make meals for us and even offered us to sit down to eat. We chose take-out. Ate the food back at Hotel and the three dishes we ordered were delicious and very filling.

Newk’s rarely disappoints. Even when they are busy the food is fresh and delicious. There are a lot of choices when you have family or friends at Sacred Heart or shopping. This is a stop that’s always consistent on good food, excellent service, and friendly staff. And most customers are friendly too (let’s keep it that way folks). We drove by and realized it had been a while since we been at Newk’s so we decided to stop. I am not a fan of the stand in line and look at a board to order my food. That is my only complaint about the place and it’s not even a complaint really. I had the Italian with a side of pasta salad. I also got a pepperoni pizza to take home. My oldest got the lobster bisque and my youngest got an order of mac and cheese. I am not sure why so much time had passed since we ate there but I am sure it won’t be long before the next visit.
