Visiting my friend in Bend, Oregon, I stumbled upon NorthFresh, a charming food cart offering a delightful and memorable culinary experience. The sushi with salmon was an artwork of flavors, but the Tuna Poke Bowl stole the show, challenging my preference for salmon with its freshness and deliciously light marination. I love this place! My brother and I come here all the time and thought it was about time to leave a review. The fish is always better than the sushi restaurants in town! So fresh and delicious, the avocados are always perfect which seems like magic to me, the staff is always super friendly and quick and the portions are perfect! Skip the boat load of soy sauce, you won’t need it because the fish is sooo good. Best sushi in town in my opinion! Plus if you are with friends who don’t love sushi there are lots of other great food trucks at Midtown Yacht Club. Highly recommend!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I chose to just get a few appetizers because the wait was 1+ hours for sushi or poke. But what I got was inedible (off flavor, burnt, half missing(?!), very disgusting). It seems to be at any location your wait times are ridiculously long and the quality and portion sizes have gone down hill.

If your a lover of sushi/poke like myself, this is hands down the (BEST) spot in town. I’m a local nutritionist here in Bend so I really take pride in finding the quality of food, where it’s sourced, and if it’s healthy. The quality of this food is incredible, there’s so much love and care that goes into preparing and providing this healthy food for its customers. Welcome to your new favorite sushi/poke truck!

The worker there was very friendly. I didn’t have to wait too long for my food and he gave me extra shrimp tempura which was very delicious! Fresh and tasty! Worth the price I paid!

As a past employee I do NOT recommend eating North Fresh Sushi. The customer service is awful, the owner and employees are very rude, short, and disrespectful. The sushi is alright but how the owner treats his customers and employees I’ll never I support this business. The proper safety and health requirements are not met and I’ve gotten sick twice after eating here. They often close before they’re set closing time and are late to open. If you’re wanting good sushi with great service, don’t go here.

We eat here at least once a week and haven’t had one dish that is less than delicious! This team works hard to ensure the fish offered is the freshest imaginable, with sometimes up to daily deliveries…which is incredibly hard to come by in Central Oregon.

Man, I’ve contemplated writing this review, but after 5 tries and being told “sorry we’re too busy cutting fish to take orders” then showing up today and waiting 35min while watching the two guys talk and joke around, staring at me and not updating me. My friend ordered after me and he got his food 15min ago. When I asked how much longer I was told “Well I have made 60 rolls today” as if the fact you’re busy is my fault. Maybe place a sign so others know, or tell me when I order it will be 1hr. The employees other than the Dad all are rude and abrasive. Today’s the last day I waste my time and money supporting a local business. I’m never rude or inpatient, but I always get told “How busy we are” or “Understaffed” and so forth. I simply asked how much longer on the order, I don’t need you to complain to me how much you’ve worked. Meanwhile the guy is talking to his buddy who miraculously ordered 5 min ago and received his food already. Now they are talking about their farms in Redmond while 5 tickets hang and they are turning people away. “Good looking man, thanks for the hookup” were his last words.

The sushi was fresh as we could tell by the color. The jalapeño poppers were the tastiest thing we had and a must get. Unfortunately, the sushi rolls were a disappointment. The descriptions had us anticipating a bunch of flavor and was the reason we went 20 minutes out of our way to try this food truck. But, they were so bland. Nice courtyard to eat in with a variety of other trucks. Great way to dine outdoors on a nice day. Located in the The Bite Tumalo

Best sushi in town. Salem roll and angry crab are a must try. Don’t forget these guys get really busy sometimes, so chill out and have a beer. Never been disappointed.
