Doing a reset as I haul my load back to Canada. Absolutely amazing BBQ!!! Best I’ve ever had. No propane used, and it’s easy to see that the owner is super passionate about his craft!!

The best brisket I’ve ever had! Plus HUGE portions of meat in their sandwiches! Tryna ( not sure how she spells her name?) is definitely the face of this place! She is always pleasant and willing to accommodate all customers to the best of her ability. Double JJ has quickly become my Cheers! “where everybody knows your name and glad to see you came.”

Absolutely delicious bbq! The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches are the areas best. The service is amazing and the prices are fair compared the the size of the portions. You should go there and see for yourself.

OMG!!! Delicious! Yeah I know what your thinking(yeah dummy it’s BBQ) I never thought I could find BBQ this fantastic outside of down south. Pulled pork piled so high I had to remove a bunch just to add some sauce. Brisket and pulled pork smoked so perfectly, with overwhelming generous portions. This is the spot!

The Brisket Sandwich is really good. The meat is very tender and it’s like butter. The Mango Habanero sauce is amazing. The heat of the sauce is perfect. The Potato Salad was also good. I think it taste better when the potatoes are chopped into cubes.

Some of the best bbq my girlfriend or myself have ever had. Had their brisket sandwich, and it was to die for. You can tell they care about the food and their customers. Will definitely be supporting them every time I drive through

First off, the food is great, which is why I drive 30+ miles to eat here. This review is for very poor customer service. Drove all the way from Salem and they are closed. It’s 1130 on a Friday, Google says they are open, their Facebook page says they are open, their website doesn’t even have the hours of operation and the actual food truck has no sign posted of any change in schedule. They post on their Facebook page often, but no mention of any change in their schedule for today on there either. Just keep this in mind before you drive all the way here for food. I probably won’t come back down here due to the uncertainty if they will even be open.

I’m a trucker and arrived at Love’s to get some Arby’s, but I saw the sign for the food court and decided to check what was available. I saw multiple stands, but the smell of the BBQ had me making a beeline to ‘Double JJ Barbecue’. I checked out the menu and decided on the ‘big tex’s sandwich, with two sides (corn and beans), the big tex was overflowing with pulled pork and brisket, which I doused in the sweet barbecue sauce provided. The meat was extremely tender, with fantastic flavor that the barbecue sauce only enhanced. The corn sat in a cheesy sauce, surrounded by bits of sausage. Delicious! The BBQ beans are a classic example of what I used to eat in North Carolina, with a smokey flavor that compliments the rest of the meal. 5/5, would recommend, best BBQ I’ve eaten on the west coast. Sorry for the lack of photos, I was too busy eating lol
