Wow! Probably some of the best Alfredo you’ll find in the area! Buffalo chicken dip is just like Mom makes. Italian sub and fair style French fries were on point. Beautiful golf course view and friendly staff make this one of my new favorites! Would’ve liked to see the Alfredo a bit warmer when it came out, but the flavor picked up the slack (pasta temperature was the only thing that kept the food from a 5-star review).

I’ve come here regularly the last fifteen years to golf and eat lunch, occasionally for dinner. Something has drastically taken a turn for the worse the last few months. The food is what you would expect in a dive bar now instead of what I’d become accustomed to. My last visit: ordered a cheese burger cooked medium and tater tots. My friend ordered a wrap and fries (because there was not a healthy alternative). Took about 20 minutes to receive a well done burger and french fries. My companion mentioned the potato mix up and the bartender apologized. I started to eat the fries but they were cold and unedible. Again the bartender apologized. The bartender then brought out a large basket of fries for us to share, still no tots. These were also terrible. He did discount the bill but I’m disappointed that a restaurant I used to frequent is so inept, especially since it was the closest thing to fine dining we had in Pataskala.

My wife and I had a rare night without the kids and we decided on Cumberland Trail Bar & Grill. It was a beautiful late spring, early summer evening so we decided to sit outside which was a great choice until the sun wend down. My wife got the Southwest egg rolls with their fried pickle fries which were out of this world. I got their famous fish and chips, and believe me there is a reason this dish is famous. The fries were fresh cut inhouse spiced real potatoes that stood alone but were kicked up a notch with some apple cider vinegar over the top. The fish (while notably smaller than I remember from my last experience) was two hand battered fried helpings of white fish that you normally see at a restaurant next to a large body of water (meaning it was very fresh and obviously prepared by someone who knows how to properly make fish). I will say I could have used one more helping of fish the portion just seemed smaller however we will, without a doubt, be back.

On multiple occasions I have not been served and walked out. Service here is terrible overall. I live in the community and used to frequent this place often. I love the food and atmosphere when they actually don’t mess my order up and when I am able to get service. Tonight just was one too many times 4 servers sat at a table doing cutlery in napkins not once even thought about getting up.

I am a regular at this bar and grill. I live in the neighborhood and it is so convenient. Love the food and atmosphere. I also play golf here. Unfortunately the wait staff is horrible. Unless Sadie is there you get no service. Went in there today and sat with my friend for almost 20 minutes and know one came to the table.Not the first time for this. All the wait staff were sitting messing with silverware. They looked at us and still nothing. It is sad that the service is so bad. They need a manager to control the service.

Very BAD Business Practices by ownership. Food is typical trash, every time I go I find a hair in my dish. Service is not great at all. Course is sub-par. Course is also the cause of many many local vehicle and house damages and flat out refuses to even aknowledge or take accountability.

Amazing food!!! We got the pretzel bites as an appetizer which were amazing and fresh. I got the Blackened Chicken Alfredo and HIGHLY recommend it! The sauce isn’t your typical heavy cream sauce, it was so flavorful and could see the fresh herbs in it. My husband got the Trail Burger and it was also amazing! The fries were seasoned and deliciously crispy. The burger had a great charred flavor but wasn’t dry. 10/10 recommend this hidden gem. We will be coming back for sure.
