From the jump, had a good feeling. The waitress wasted no time, we were served coffee and water fast. I got my usual, biscuit, sausage gravy, lightly scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and wheat toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and high quality and perfect quantity – i was hungry. Deb got a bacon, fried egg, cheese, on hard roll, corn muffin grilled and buttered perfectly. She raved, very pleased. The owner spoke with us about his Yankees/ red Sox display, there’s a story. I have been coming to McGranes for many years, since they were over on Rowley St., where the Rowley Grill is now situated. Obviously, I like the place. BUT as I am now in need of an ADA compliant restroom, I can’t go here. You have updated the outside of the restaurant, but have you brought the ONE restroom into compliance???

The food was amazing! Service was fast and our server was friendly and quick. Only down side was you have to pay with cash. There is an ATM but it is very dated after 3 tries and a service fee we were able to get cash out. Make sure to bring cash and enjoy a great meal!

Food is good, tables are kind of crowded together. Had corned beef and cabbage but they ran out of the bread that was supposed to go with it, different a discount even though you weren’t getting the full meal advertised.

I had a craving for biscuits and gravy. Usually such cravings, when met, result in disappointment. But not so here. I thoroughly enjoyed my tasty biscuits and gravy, I was pleased with the coffee, the frequent refills, and the attentive service. Although at this time I haven’t tried other menu items, I nonetheless confidently, strongly recommended this local restaurant.

My wife and I went here for the first time, and we will not be returning. The service is the only thing worth mentioning on a positive note. Our server was very kind and attentive to us. Our food on the other hand was the issue. My entire dish came out luke warm except for my eggs. My wife had the same issue, and they never brought us part of our order. When we pointed it out, the server removed it from the bill. I wish I could chalk it up to how busy they were, but there was only 2 other parties in the diner while we ate.
