I’ll start by saying, I love a good Soul Food spot, the food here was decent. I just don’t understand why the container fits the prices but the not the proportions. I got a thin layer of Mac n cheese, they forgot the yams. The Fried Shrimp was delicious the yams were good in taste and proportion, but the Mac n cheese could use Ground Mustard, salt doesn’t have to be added it was good other than the small amount given for the price of the meal.

I tried this place twice. First time, the banana pudding taste like it was old like it was sitting in the refrigerator for a week. Mash and Mac had NO seasoning. The mash taste like it was made with water. Rib tips were so tough. The pound cake was not good. It was way too sweet. I gave it a second try with different dishes and I was disappointed.

After seeing many flyers I decided to give this spot a chance. I came in and they were super nice and friendly. I got the rib tips and I was not disappointed. I will definitely come back and check out more of the menu but from a first experience I definitely recommend this place.

I came down from Atlanta with my homie boiteux to have african boiled ribs the ocky way with extra glistening. Unfortunately what I received made me thug shake violently until I was removed by EMT. Maybe they should try washing the ribs with dawn dish soap next time.

How I ask, how can you mess up fried chicken? I ordered it trying to play it safe. There was no seasoning at all and the side of pinto beans were flavorless as well. Not to mention that we had to wait for over 30 minutes to get our order and we drove 40 minutes to get there. The customer service was good but that is the only thing that was.

I came from out of town to visit my cousin in Atlanta and we both wanted some chitterlings so we drove 35 minutes to get them. Was very disappointed ☹️ the chitterlings had absolutely no flavor no seasoning and the greens were sweet and the price that we paid didn’t match the quantity nor quality of the food. I would not recommend. PLEASE SEASONING YOUR FOOD!
