If you’re visiting the island and could go to only one poke place, I have to recommend off the hook. However, prepare for a long line due to its popularity among locals and tourists. The line may be long but staff is generally efficient and could help get you the help you need pretty fast.

Excellent poke bowls. It was extremely fresh and flavorful. The line starts early, we got there at 10:45 (they open at 11), and there was already 15-20 people ahead of us. The line moved quickly though.

I ordered original ginger poke & spicy ahi. I’ve never had this ginger poke before! It was so flavorful and delicious! You can get two toppings with additional only 50 cents✌️That’s amazing!!!

My personal favorite poke shop on Oahu. Hands down top 5. The fish is super fresh and melts in your mouth. They offer a lot of choices but you can never go wrong with the spicy ahi (or any choice really). Decent prices, friendly staff and they offer you a bag of ice to keep your poke cold and fresh if you’re not planning to eat it right away. Lines usually pretty long but it’s worth the wait.

My husband and I were visiting Hawaii for the first time and stayed for 11 days. We tried at least 5 poke places before we discovered Off the Hook. This is the best poke we ever had in Hawaii. We got the Sampler with sushi rice and another plate of their famous ginger ahi tuna and Miso Taco (octopus) plate. I’m not a fan of ginger since it has very deep and bright taste but I love it a lot. It’s mild and doesn’t have aftertaste. The best poke we ever had at Oahu . I didn’t have a chance to make a picture of a plate, it was gone in 5 minutes!

Definitely worth the high ratings. Food was amazing. We tried the cold ginger, spicy ahi, Hawaiian style and the wasabi. All delicious!! Must try!! Don’t be intimidated by the line. Service is fast and efficient!

We love poke here. The place is so humble, just a window to order, no seats. Fresh ahi poke, well marinated. We enjoy our Spicy Ahi and Miso Ginger Tako. Price is higher than some places just a bit. Overall, worth our drive.
