My daughter and I purchased the kombu ramen with side of pork buns. I couldn’t finish my first bite because of the funky smell of the noodles and the stench of the chicken (game smell). The mushrooms were overbearing and the chicken was bland as well as the broth.The pork buns were actually pretty good, but cold. The staff was very nice but nothing was done about it. $43.43 for 2x combos wasted.

They have the best ramen I have never get before! The Japanese Fried Chicken was soooo good! The home made mayo is the best one. I can’t believe there is a ramen place in the mall and it’s so good! Also, I bought a home made green tea cake, that’s the best green tea cake in the world! There are some red bean paste in side the cream!

fantastic!! was checking this spot out with a friend and the person handing out samples in front of the counter immediately caught our attention and was extremely nice and very personable. he gave us samples of some of their fried chicken (which was delicious), then after talking with us for a bit, he recommended we try the bento boxes, as well as a couple imported beverages from their fridge (which were absolutely excellent). my friend and i got the chicken and the shrimp boxes and shared them; they were absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned (especially for the price of roughly $13 each) so we were left satisfied and full and even had a little bit to spare! they came with a salad, miso soup, white or fried rice, shumai dumplings, and either the chicken or shrimp, all of which was top-notch. everything was made to order and you could definitely taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. the person who was working the register and preparing the food was incredibly kind to us as well; when we went back to get a dango stick for dessert, he gave us an extra one for free, which was very generous and absolutely delicious. food aside, for a small storefront in a mall food court this place was visibly very clean and well-kept, and the general aesthetic and layout of everything gave off a great vibe as well. we will definitely be back the next time we’re at the smith haven mall; i highly recommend you support this place and check out their wonderful food!

Hands down the very best Ramen food in the entire area. And I’ve tried all of them! I sincerely hope this place is open forever. Every single thing I have tried on the menu has been very authentic and very tasty. I recommend the Karaage Ramen with an egg, and for app I suggest the Gyoza Dumplings. Go there now!

Great food, great prices and yummy desserts. Staff are all super nice and the orders come out very quickly. This was a surprising find in a food court but I’m glad we did! I would have taken more photos but the food was eaten almost immediately after it was set down.

Love this place, I can’t say enough good things about it! The food is always so tasty, and it has a more authentic feel being that the menu changes according to what’s in season. That tells me that freshness is priority. This is the only place I’ve seen crispy gyoza, and I’ve not been able to eat gyoza the same since. Must be from here, and must be crispy!! I’m not a fan of chicken, but the japanese fried chicken here? Amazingly crispy! Delicious establishment, attentive staff, fresh food, hands down the best place in the food court to stop for a bite!

I ate at at this place for the second time. The first time was the ramen with mushrooms. I didn’t like it the first time since I’m not a broth and mushroom fan. I think the broth was bland about 4 months ago since I tried it. I couldn’t write the review just yet. Just yesterday, the second time. I tried was the karage ramen which was really good. I feel like going back here again since The Melt Shop is gone. I have been trying to stay away from franchise restaurants.
