Our waitress, Jamie, was great and did a really good job. The wait on our drinks from the bar on the other hand was terrible, we were almost done eating by the time we got our drinks. The food was ok, we had sushi and it was great and the rangoons were top notch. I’m sorry to say that the hibachi was not good.

I had very mixed emotions with this restaurant. The restaurant itself has a classy feel to it and they offer different seating options. Booth, table, hibachi grill, and alfresco. I noticed seating was also at the sushi area. If you want sushi say yes to the sushi menu as prices are not on the regular menu. I did find the pricing to be more per person here than other comparable restaurants. The server we had was very pleasant and accommodating. The presentation of everything was with a five star ⭐ treatment so definitely worthy of a date night. I ordered the chicken teriyaki hibachi style and felt it wasn’t as good as others I’ve had. There was really no way to say it but the chicken was bland. My son who dined with me tried a bite and felt the same. It tasted extremely salty as well. The presentation of his sushi was beautiful, however; he said he felt it was really over priced. The sushi roll I got was ok but a little spicier than I expected which was the Kamikaze. The Lafayette hot I purchased for my husband and took back home to him was actually not spicy at all and tasted way better. I feel it may be a hit or miss here depending on your order. I can say my son said he could drink the miso soup by the gallon, it was delicious. After our meal the server did bring out warm towels to clean up with which was a nice touch.

When we went here they had just had their grand opening the day before or something so they were just getting the hang of everything I think. At least that’s the reason I am willing to overlook some of the mistakes that were made. The hibachi was pretty good but not the best. It’s also a little more expensive than other hibachi places in town. The service was okay. I could tell they were a little overwhelmed with it being their first week open or whatever it was but one lady was just rude.

I rarely ever go out to eat sushi, because it’s pricey, but this is the best place for sushi that I have been to. They have lots of delicious rolls you can get with a wide variety of ingredients. They also have very good miso soup here. They had a roll with kimchi in it that was deep-fried that I absolutely loved. The service was also good. Overall, if you want or need japanese food, this is the place to get it.

We’ve been there twice now. The food is consistently good. The first time we went, the service wasn’t great. We had to keep asking other waitstaff to get our waitress. I’m chocking that up to that one server as she was sitting at a nearby table on her phone. The second time we went our waitress was perfect. Very attentive. I give it 4 stars because their prices are quite a bit higher than other places in the area but to remedy that, I’ll go at lunch instead of dinner to pay the lower price simply because the food is really good. The atmosphere is nice as well. We didn’t do the table where they cook in front of you and our food came super fast!

The food was great! Hibachi chicken and steak with the Crimson Tide Roll! Service was a little slow as they were very busy the night I went but that’s no worries. Hibachi grill had about a 30 minute wait so we opted for a table instead.

This place is great and the Japanese food is wonderful. You can sit at a table, bar, or the Hibachi grill and watch the chefs do their work. The manager and staff are always making sure you are treated nicely. This is definitely a must go place. We had seen the adds recently and my wife surprised me by taking me there for my birthday. Don’t forget to order the tempura ice cream, a definite.
