The price was fairly high for the quality of food and flavor. I had originally ordered from here by mistake but I thought I would try it anyways because I LOVE Chinese food. I think this restaurant would benefit better from: 1. A menu review, there are so many things on the menu, its hard to do all of them right. 2. Put more effort into the flavors of the menu items to have a better outcome. The Staff was friendly enough, its was almost their closing time so I’m sure they were all waiting to go home.

Obviously, there are a lot of Americanized Chinese food places out there. Tao Garden is not that, coming in with the delicious traditional Chinese food that will please those with a diverse palate. I would recommend coming here and trying something you’ve never tried before from a Chinese restaurant, you will be pleasantly surprised. Every dish was flavorful and came out on the perfect cadence. A large amount of rice came with our dishes and free refills of rice are available.

Really good food at a reasonable price. That is why Tao Garden has such great reviews. The tofu that was used in the mapo tofu and hot & sour soup was very tender and made both dishes very light. The salty pepper shrimp was cooked just right. Overall the food is something that you find at a really good family restaurant, tasty dishes with well balanced flavors and quality ingredients that are not overly greasy. The menu is large and the service is fast. Definitely a place for wonderful home cooked meals!

Walked into this unassuming restaurant right before dinner. It’s a fairly large place and it was empty with outdated decor so I was concerned. We were greeted and the servers were very friendly. The food is great! Big portions and the prices are extremely reasonable but not too cheap to compromise the quality of the food. We had beef fried rice, prawns, crab puffs and bone on steamed chicken with ginger. I’ll def be coming back!

What wonderful friendly service! This place is the real deal. The food is great and the prices are outstanding. The portions are large. Try the lunch specials. So much food. So little money. I had the chicken friend rice. It was perfect. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming exterior. This gem is well worth the visit.

Food is absolutely delicious. One of the best Cantonese spots in Az, but you might have an unpleasant dinner. If you get the older waitress whose name is Mingyu Zhang, then be prepared for rude behavior and pushy attitude. The last time we ate, she kept trying to hurry us out of the restaurant. She kept checking if we were done and she even told us that it’s time to leave. We were simply there to have a quick bite, but she was rude and unprofessional. And the worst part was when we gave a smaller tip but she tried to force us to pay a high tip. For what? For harassing us? 2 stars for bad service!
