Absolutely the best food I’ve had in years! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. Everyone from the wait staff to the kitchen was extremely friendly. They brought out samples of collard greens and needless to say they were delicious. Highly recommend this spot if you want some down home good soul food!!

I wish I could give this place a zero out of five! Inflation or not these plates are not worth $20! Firstly, the three piece fish plate appeared to be one filet cut into three pieces, there was little-to-no meat, it was overcooked and it reeked, leaving the entire house with a terrible odor. Not to mention the fries were soggy.

We called in a take out order for dinner tonight and were happy we did! It was fast, easy, and delicious! We will definitely be returning soon. Everything we ordered was perfect, I’ll be ordering greens and mac&cheese as sides with every order in the future they were that good. The people were great & very friendly, it feels like a nice family place. Very happy with our experience

It was recommended by a friend. Came too early for dinner but the breakfast options are delicious we are definitely going back for dinner. Coffee is free and the owner let us sample the greens. They are packing excellent flavor and the right amount of heat!! Very friendly staff

We kept hearing and reading about how good this place was so we stopped in. Upon arrival to look at the place, it’s not much to see. Could use a little freshen up on the inside(momNpop kinda feel). The owner greeted us outside by the parking lot next to the grill. He asked if we ate Collard greens and offered us a sample once we got inside. When he brought out the sample we knew the rest of the food was going to be great. He knew it was our 1st time so he also brought out a sample of his ribs. OMG!!! I had never tasted ribs like that outside of my dad’s barbecue. My husband doesnt even care for ribs and he said, I’m getting those next time. Hubs ordered the chicken alfredo pasta, it was very flavorful and seasoned. I had the ribs and ordered extras sides. MacNcheese and yams were good. But them Collard greens….Yesssss they are awesome with a lil kick to them. Also, they serve a side salad before your food comes out and it was even pretty good and helped with the wait to prepare the food. Definitely adding this place to the list of date night restaurants.

I will never eat from here again. I ordered The King’s breakfast and salmon alfredo from here off door dash… There were styrofoam pieces in my eggs and pancakes, The salmon on top of my Alfredo was incredibly dry might as well have been rubber and when I tried to call to let them know of this no one picked up. That whole meal was unacceptable I just threw the whole thing away. Never again…that is all…Good day!!!

All I can say is, this is the best soul food restaurant on the west side of Cincinnati! Their greens are amazing. They taste so much like mine! I loved the mac and cheese it had so much cheese flavor! I’ve been a chef for over 15 years and I can tell that these people put LOVE in their food! Friendly staff too! They appreciate your business as well! This is by far, the best carryout I’ve had in a while! So pleased and I will be back again! My uncle recommended it. keep doing what you’re doing guys and you’ll be here for a long time!
