Firstly they have a great customer service. The staff is very helpful in terms of helping us understand each food items they have. However the food itself were horrible. The meat was very dry and tasteless. We got the soup as well and they were very bland too not much flavor. They were also a bit on the pricer end especially the food was not great.

My 3 star is not a reflection of the taste and quality of the food. The food taste alright and look nothing like the menu board above the buffet server. I have an issue with the price of the meal and portion size; they’re unequally yoked! They claim to serve 2 scoops of each meal costing $15 – $30 based on the protein selected. I got the egusi and the spinach (over cooked and lacking of texture). I had to beg the young lady serving to give me an extra half scoop. What a joke! I asked to sample the fried sweet plantain (I like mine medium firm texture not soft not hard) and she said “we don’t do tasters here” what kinda thing is that? For $50 (the cost of 2 entrees) I’d like to be able to serve a family of 4 not 2. Please can the owner stop being so ungenerous with their food. Give me a reason to come buy food weekly not quarterly. Please please I am asking nicely! Give us more food or lower your price. I think 3 – 4 scoops would match the price you’re charging us. Looking forward to the owners feedback. See pics attached… lots of oil in both dishes and hardly any content. The snapper fish and mixed meat filled up the container and there was hardly any egusi and spinach. Stop this foolishness. At this point Not sure I’d go back there again until I see positive reviews on improvements.

The staff was very friendly and the location is very clean and welcoming. I got the jollof rice with meat. The meat and the sweet plantains were good but definitely some getting used to the aroma of the jollof rice. The flavor of the rice was like when you burn yellow rice so I am not fully sure if that the rice was burned or if that’s an intentional flavor. I was also served a lot of bone and fat instead of meat. But the meat that I did get was good and flavorful.

Jollof Pot is the best authentic Nigerian restaurant located in the heart of Miramar. If you never had the privilege of tasting Nigerian cuisine, get ready to introduce your palate to Okro Soup, Egusi Soup , Assorted Meat and much more.

Everyone is very friendly and kind. The music is also always banging. The food is divine. I Never get tired of eating here. I even drove 30+ mins sometimes when the cravings hit. Some of the best I’ve had.

The owner is very pleasant. I felt welcomed. This was my first time trying Nigerian food. It was so good! I had jollof rice, chicken, and fried plantains. The rice and the sauce on the chicken was spicy (just how I like it). Everything had so much flavor. I would definitely recommend.

It was my first time coming to the restaurant with a sister friend of mine. Me and her both got the jollof rice entree platter with the chicken and sweet plaintains. It was great, my sister friend and I were beyond satisfied! Will definitely be coming back here again!!!

If I could give this a ZERO I would’ve in a heartbeat. The food was the worse I have EVER experienced. Overly priced for LESS than mediocre! I took 1 bite and wanted to spit it out immediately. On top of that my friends plate has more bones than meat and that was barely noticeable. Like 2 or 3 meat. The smell alone was unappealing. I’m VERY disappointed of that being my first experience of African food. The woman serving us was very stingy with the food and didn’t explain the meal properly. Over $30s for something I took 3-5 bites to make sure I wasn’t tasting what I thought I was but I did, trash. Never ever again.
