The service was fast, staff was very attentive for drink refills and questions. The food was good , I opted for the miso chicken ramen and it was awesome. I will also for appetizers the Chashu pork bun was good as well, with filling that was very tender.

First time here. Great indoor dining atmosphere. Staff Help was outstanding. Great variety of food and drinks to choose from. You get Free Hot or Cold Sake when you dine in. Food was fantastic, fresh, quick, and served hot. You get good food portions for the price, compared to other Ramen restaurants in Lafayette. Love this place, and can’t wait to dine here again!!

I love this place. One of my favorites in Lafayette. The Causin has great spice and flavor. Unfortunately I found a big chunk of plastic in my food, Called the restaurant to let them know and I just received a sorry. Nothing more. Unacceptable.

One of my favorite places to eat in Lafayette. I’ve order almost everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. Food is always flavorful and service is always great. I want to say this is as authentic as you can get in Louisiana. Highly recommend

Izumi really dropped the ball this Valentine’s day. Fiance ordered ahead of time on the website to have a speedy pick-up like we always do. To start it off, using their website we placed the order. If you order any appetizers dont click the sauce option. It really means no sauce (picture provided). When we realized this is what happened going over the order after checking out we called the restaurant to fix it and they said to not worry about it and that there would be sauce for the pork bun and chi-kin karaage… there wasn’t. The service was slow and poor. Waited 10 minutes staring at the packed bag of food sitting at the bar getting cold. Then when we get home and open the bag we see that the chi-kin karaage order is half the size it usually is and the ramen broth was not mild (as my lips are burning) and the container of broth is not the black samurai broth. This is 100% not the usual service and quality of food we are used to. Izumi is very important to us as it was our first date and annual anniversary location as well. Very disappointed on this Valentine’s day.
