Phenomenal! Started with the Conjunto, and the tamales with the homemade queso were authentic and delicious! I ordered the Keen and Lovett’s Front Porch Platter for the main course and was blown away by the homemade beans and cheese enchiladas. The quality of the food far surpassed all expectations! We can’t wait to be back!

My husband and I came here two nights in a row!!! Amazing drinks and we tried the enchiladas plate! It was delicious!! The drinks were really good, too! It’s a very relaxing place where you can just sit back and relax after a long day of exploring the towns. We also ordered the chips and salsa… the chips are really good, but the salsa did taste like marinara sauce with added spices to make it taste like a salsa. There’s also live music! There is a $5 dollar fee to sit on the patio to see the band play (the money goes to the band). Which we didn’t mind. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our times here and will love to visit again.

Discovered this restaurant on my travels and it was wonderful! Another beautiful example of American creativity born from some of the best notes in music history. If you ever visit Texas Hill Country, put this stop on your “to do” list.

What a great, unexpected out of the way place. Food and service were fantastic, as was the music.

I didn’t even know there was anything back down that road except a mobile home park. Like always I looked on Maps to check out what restaurants were open for this Friday evening for us 3 to go chow. Also hoping to find a new place. So we had 2 choices; The Humble Fork or Southern Sky Music Cafe, so my husband picked the Cafe. We showed up lookin good, entered the restaurant and to our surprise it was huge but empty, which is okay with us. We didn’t know to seat ourselves or wait so we just stood there waiting for someone. A young lady came and assisted us to a table of our choice inside or outside. It was warm outside so we picked indoors. She took our drink order and told us that she will be serving us. They don’t have a liquor license so the only serve beer and wine. I am pretty sure our waitress’s name was Erica. She just started working there and we had never been there before so it worked out perfect. She was young, delightful, and had a good head on her shoulders. She carried herself well. It took awhile for us to decide what to eat because we were jabbering about their menu. After ordering I decided to walk around and check the place out, my husband went outside to check out the surroundings, and Heather sat there at the table on her phone. It had plenty of entertaining conversational pieces around the whole place. There was a musician playing country music. I didn’t know it but I walked in front of a fan to I totally fell in love with. It felt like hurricane force wind. I love fans, I have one in every room in my home. That was a plus sign for me. When I got back to the table the food was already there, it looked and smelt great. And it was. OMG! Yummy! Kudos to the Chef. My husband’s steak was a little under cooked so Erica had him flame it once more. The chef is who bring it back out to us. Him and my husband started talking about how talented Bryon is and how they should have one of his pieces of artwork displayed in the restaurant. They exchanged numbers and the Chef was also a nice gentleman. It’s one of those rare moments when u find nice people in this crazy world. Thanks for showing us a pleasant evening. We will go back and ask to be served by Erica and hopefully have the same cook. ✌️❤️

Really great place to eat. I had the Folk Festival and my daughter had the Americana. The decor was great. Absolutely loved the barstools.

Love this place. It’s located behind the Stonehenge II replica so you get to take pictures before you step into the music and food venue. The atmosphere is laid back, and the food is delicious. The chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes were devine and wait staff were attentive. Also, try the margarita-wine-sour. It tastes like a regular margarita but better. Gary Patrick and his band were the music performers the night I attended Southern Sky, and I was blown away. I highly recommend this place!

The food here was delicious (and every dish name made us smile). I love the atmosphere and can only imagine how fun it must be in the evenings. Great spot with fabulous service. One of the highlights of our vacation.
