My husband had this food thru his work and said it was excellent. I’ve been trying to eat there to try it and they’ve always been super busy. But tonight after work, my husband drove over to bring home the beef and chicken plate. There’s so much food on this dish that it is enough to feed both of us with a little leftover. I asked if they used pineapple in their sauce (because I’m deathly allergic to pineapple) and they said they don’t use pineapple. It was very, very good.

This is where I go to get my Hawaiian BBQ fix in Gilbert. Everything I’ve had here is solid. My go to is the Katsu & BBQ combo-Katsu chicken, bbq chicken, and bbq beef. The bbq beef is the most tender I’ve had in AZ. It also has really good flavor that’s a slightly sweet and subtle Korean bbq style. The katsu chicken is always crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Solid Mac salad here too. If you’re looking for Hawaiian barbecue in Gilbert, this place beats all of the chain places that in town.

I ordered online said to be there to pick up in half an hour. It took them an hour to get me my food. I watched other customers walking in order and get their food in 5 minutes and out the door. The lady that runs the counter is very nice though. Food is good but I don’t know why it took so long. I’m not going to order online at this location ever again.

I ordered a medium pan of their bbq chicken. Cost me around $60 and some change. I did not know half the pan was going to be filled with vegetables. I thought I ordered bbq chicken. Not bbq chicken and steamed vegetables. Not worth the price I paid for it. Such a rip off. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!…I never order from them again….

Maybe I’m spoiled from eating at Aloha Kitchen in Mesa (which is off the charts delicious) but I just think the flavor of the food here isn’t very good. The rice is good and the macaroni salad is average. The meats and sauces do not have good flavor and instantly gave me a stomach ache. I haven’t tried everything on the menu…but I’d highly recommend avoiding the chicken and beef combo here.
