Food was great for the most part but when I went in the other day I got a rude waitress name Alissa (something like that). She was very slow and lazy about taking our order, I thought she might be busy till I saw her just counting her tips. Well by the end of our meal the waitress was no where in site! She never checked on us after we got our food I had to go up to the counter to get a refill. Good food rude employees

Service was no good . Waitress didn’t put in our order on time . Other people were getting their orders before us . When I went to go ask what was going on all they said is “they’re starting your food now” after an hour of waiting we didn’t get an apology from the manager . Then they didn’t even bring our food out together .we weren’t able to eat as a family . My niece ordered “8 piece chicken nuggets” it looked like raw fish , so we took it to the manager and she said was “okay” then the cook comes and tells us that it wasn’t fish it was “scallop” , so I tell her whatever it was , it wasn’t what she ordered ! My husband didn’t even get his food until the rest of us were done ! He had to ask for a plate to go . And the manager still didn’t apologize . Never going back again

Waitress took our order and did not put it in the computer to be made. Waited here for more then an hour just to be able to eat. My sister in laws husband, did not get his food, until everyone was already done with theirs. I had also ordered the 8 piece chicken nugget for my daughter, and in return she got scallop. My son did not want coleslaw, he chose something different, did not receive, but was charged for it. The service was bad, we did not even get an apology from neither the waitress or the manager for the order mix up, or for the wait. Above all, other customers who arrived after us got their food, before we did. Guaranteed this is the first and last time we come here.

Stopped in Snyder on the way from eastland to Washington, for dinner with the family and we decided we wanted to try something different then fast food. At first we were a lol nervous once we sat down and not one person said hi or let us know we were noticed. But once we reached out the waitress was amazing apologized a million times, was super sweet and helpful, the help was great after that too. The food WORTH EVERY PENNY. OMG IT WAS SO GOOD! Kids got catfish fries and all that. I had a grilled seafood platter and it was sided with zucchini and rice, the fish seasoning was in point, shrimp perfect, and everything was seriously great. My wife had steak and shrimp and zucchini side and we were wow’d by the flavors. Again worth every penny we will be back, we will be sharing and we will be bringing crowds!

Service could of been better. 15min after ordering waitress comes to tell me that they ran out of a ingredient. 5min after another ingredient wasn’t gonna be on my burger. Staff should of known that ahead of time.

This place is no longer called Texas Cajun Cafe, it’s under new owners and it’s now called El Malecon. Tonight was their opening night, food was great. There are a lot of Mexican seafood selections like ceviche and shrimp fajitas as well as other more American dishes like chicken-fried-chicken. Service was excellent! Restaurant was clean and had a lot of room.

Waited for 45-50 minutes from the time stamp of the order for something that takes ten minutes. Received the order and got home to eat and items we’re missing, the order wasn’t cooked to specifications. The Cajun seasoning was put on the crab and was almost inedible…especially when the reason I can’t eat spicy is because of health issues. But, what can you expect from a couple of teenagers and no adults in sight? Next time, instead of bickering at each other…maybe their concern should be moreso on getting orders finished and correct.
