First time trying this place out and found it as a last minute dinner option and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous! We ordered the gyro platter and chicken herb platter , both were around $14 including tax. The hummus was amazing and the pita bread was even better the next day when we baked it! We also ordered a piece of their baklava $3. The baklava was a bit too sweet for me but still yummy! Will be coming back and def recommend if you are in the neighborhood!

The food was delicious and very nice staff. Ordered two lamb gyros and got steaming fresh food. The baklava was very rich in honey and tasted great. Gyros were priced at $9.75 a piece and baklava $3 a piece. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area.

Great food, amazing service, and real people. The owner went out of his way to accommodate the customers, and has a great sense of humor.

Don’t sleep on Byblos. Great little greek deli, fantastic gyros, souvlaki, salad, fries. Was given a drink with the meal for no extra charge. Mans wouldn’t let me tip the first time I came in because I paid in cash . Moral of the story is, great local business— visit Byblos.

This is a great place to eat fantastic Greek / Mediterranean food. I was visiting the Zoo with my daughter and found this gem by accident.

We took our last summer intern out for lunch. We all enjoyed the food and felt that the food tasted very good and was homemade. The service was good, the wait for food varied for example the gyros came out quickly while the special took 5-10 minutes longer. One, thing that we were disheartened by was that they only had a 2 pieces of Baklava left while there were 8 people in our party. I will say I enjoyed the piece that I got.

Byblos is a good little spot that you might not notice if you were just walking by. It doesn’t call a lot of attention to itself but the food is tasty and affordable by DC standards. I had the Kafta Kebab and fries. The kebab was seasoned well and included exceptionally creamy hummus, as well as tomatoes, onions, and beef The fries were cut thick, lightly salted, and fried optimally (personally I don’t like it when fries are super crispy, but these were great). Also a highlight (at least for me) was that Byblos carried Stewart’s soda, which is some of the best you can get in my opinion, and is sweetened purely with cane sugar. On top of everything, the server was friendly, and the food was prepared quickly. I would definitely come here again if I wanted to grab a quick bite.

This place was bomb! Was driving around Northwest and saw the reviews on Google… Very impressed. The grape leaves were great, the baba was smokey and fresh, and the hummus was excellent and creamy.
