Maddie was my server tonight and she was very amazing! Every time I come to this restaurant I will sit in this section to have her as a server. She made sure we were taken care of as well as made sure everything was good. She made all of us smile and stopped by to have a short conversation here and there. It made us feel good to have a server like her.

The establishment itself seemed decent enough. However, the hostess seemed confused when we asked for a booth seat. There wasn’t many people seated and there were plenty of tables available.. Even when considering social distancing with seating every other table is in play there were numerous booths available. She eventually was going to seat us at the booth closest to the door but when doing so our future server walked past and said something about sitting there that was both rude and uncalled for. I asked the hostess if she really said what I thought I heard… and after asking 3 times, I was eventually told yes. Not wanting to sit and eat at an establishment that clearly didn’t want our service, we left. Too many other places in Freeport to eat to have to deal with that. Returned on Mother’s day with my wife and sons and had a similarly bad experience.

I was extremely impressed with the manager Chuck. I was able to visit this location a few times. He was outside washing windows, picking up trash and when he wasn’t bussing tables he was getting to know the customers. The guy never stopped running!

We were seated right away. About 15 minutes later the waitress came by to take our drink orders. Another 15 minutes after that we received our drinks. Then she left and came back about 5 minutes after to take our food order. No one enjoyed the food. I sent my burger back. It was supposed to be well done and it was still bleeding. Everyone was done with their meal before I got my burger back. Then when I did ger it it was burnt so bad it was extremely crispy and was horrible I couldn’t even eat it. What topped that is they wouldn’t even knock a little off the bill. There was 5 of us total 3 adults and 2 kids and we were there for around 2 hours. I was extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I had pretty much given up on Applebee’s after my last experience a few months ago but the ads for the 2 for $25 have been so enticing that I decided to give them another chance. This was by far one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had there in the past 25 years. Our waitress, Amya, was very attentive. We got our food very quickly. It was hot and delicious! We were in and out in less than an hour! It was amazing! Big thank you to Amya for her awesome customer service!
