Dairy Queen is very special to me. I remember going there after work my Little League baseball won, taking my boys there for a treat and more recently at the DQ on the OBX. I almost got a peanut buster parfait but ended up with a large Reeses peanut butter cup Blizzard and the guy who gave it to me while holding it upside which is so cool. This DQ is clean and bright and the staff was super friendly but stressed because of an unexpected Sunday rush at 8pm but we didn’t wait long. It was a good visit. The other dessert is Strawberry milkshake and it was also delicious! Highly recommended!

What a great place to eat. Assistant manager was about to leave for the day. Seen I was waiting to be waited on. Put her stuff down to wait on me. After I ordered and was about to pay she noticed my shirt that I was an Air Force Veteran. Gave me 10 percent off. Wow! Food was fresh, and good. We need more people like this in the world. They seemed short staffed, and as someone who used to work at a fast food restaurant that was also extremely short staffed I understand. The food was excellent and they even brought it to our table for us, which they didn’t have to seeing that they were busy and had other stuff to do. This is the better Dairy Queen in the area, the one in Winterville is INCREDIBLY slow. The area seems a little sketchy, but overall I will probably use this location from now on. Nice to go to a DQ that has the normal menu, and not the “Tex Mex” menu that I’ve had in TX for the past 5 years.

Slow as molasses. Been sitting here in parking spot #3 for 15 minutes waiting for 2 cheese burgers. Nothing else. Every car coming through the drive thru has to go park and wait. Not that many people here. When the girl finally brought me my 2 cheeseburgers I asked her, very politely, why the delay? She rolled her eyes and said because we make it fresh. This is definitely not a fast food restaurant. Won’t be back. Hardee’s is faster. The one out by Sam’s Club is much better.

The assistant manager- Brittney was outstanding! She shown an excellent customer service skills. Although I came late, when the dining room was about to be closing (my cargo van would not fit into the drive through) go my fresh meal with a smile. Better yet, being super tired after a long drive, I left my credit card on the counter after paying. Sure enough, Brittney kept it safe until my return the next morning. The DQ has super nice, A+ employee in her. Oh, by the way, cheeseburger was good too!

Went there after we at lunch at parkers. There was no one in there at all and two people behind the counter. The first lady took our order and the 2nd lady started to fix it. The first lady rely wasn’t doing anything and the 2nd lady brought out everyone’s order but mine. So I waited a few minutes and she went back and was working the window and fixing orders for 2 girls that came in after us. Well I walked over to the counter and asked the first lady about my oreo cookie breeze and she wasn’t doing anything she said its coming in be here in a few minutes. In the mean time the 2nd lady was still working the window and she took an order outside, all the while the first lady wasn’t doing anything, the people I was with were almost done with what they ordered, im still waiting for my oreo cookie breeze, so I guess the second lady got tired of watching me stand there she decides to go ahead and make my breeze. So thats why dairy queen only got 3 stars and that was pushing it. Needless to say I will never go back to that dairy queen.

My husband & I have been twice in the past few weeks for ice cream. They have chocolate The only complaint I have, even though we requested no spoons/just lids we didn’t get lids & there were spoons in the ice cream. We do this bc we have seen DQ stores the spoons out in the open & seen flys land on them. This needs to be addressed in general.

My wife and I went Saturday and as usual we were told ” our chocolate ice cream machine is broken.” It’s always broken. They should take chocolate ice cream off the menu because they never have any. It has become somewhat of a joke for my wife and I because we will go and order chocolate ice cream just to see if the “chocolate ice cream machine is broke”. 9 times out of 10 it’s broken. We spend our money elsewhere.
