Chicken Joes in Troy is not only my favorite chicken stop, but the staff were so welcoming and friendly during our entire short visit. Leidi took our orders and delivered them to us at our table, she was not only incredibly kind but also professional which is a hard to mix to nail perfectly. Food and service were 10/10 and we will be back!

It’s fine for what it is. Fried chicken was somewhat greasy but then again, it’s fried chicken. Onion rings were a bad choice while the corn nuggets were good. Possibly too many side sauce offerings. Average food experience – nothing exciting or positively memorable.

Went in after work around 8pm and ordered nuggets and fries. The gentleman at the counter was very polite with a great attitude. Food however, was not good it was old and dry and tasted like grease. It may be because it was the end of the day. To the owner: I’m hoping my receipt was correct, the gentleman J Sebastian is an asset to your business.

If I could give 0 stars I would. One of the WORST places I have ever eaten. Chicken/onion rings were so greasy you couldn’t even taste what was underneath. It was not busy, we were the only people in the whole place and I now know why. Mac and cheese was the most pathetic Mac I have ever eaten. Worse than the Stoffers box you find in the frozen aisle at the grocery store. All food basically had zero flavor. And not to mention the churro we ordered (menu says nothing about it being stuffed with a random sauce) that could be a problem for people who have food allergies. We spent over $30 and we should be refunded for the entire order as we were not able to even eat a quarter of it. Super disappointing…

High quality chicken. Very well-managed restaurant. Employees have been consistently good over the years. Food is consistently good. Comes out fast, too. I order a bunch of food and it comes out in like ten minutes. I waited longer than 10 minutes at McDonald’s the other day.

The food was awesome. I had wanted to go for a while, and my son’s girlfriend finally convinced us to go. Excellent food, and the staff was so friendly. They brought us some churros, on the house, and now we’re addicted. They were amazing.

First timer at the Troy, NY location. Ate in around noon. Fast and friendly counter service. They even brought the food out when it was ready. Nice and hot. I had the Classic Chicken (crispy) sandwich and the crispy french fries. Both were excellent. The quality on the chicken was almost as good as the standard setting Chic Filet. My friend had the mashed potato cones ( a ball of deep fried mashed potatoes) and I tried one and will get those from now on. They were stellar. Place was clean although the eating area is due for a refresh. Overall I’d give them 4.5 stars if that were an option.

Stopped in to bring something home. Got home to find my overpriced 8 piece chicken was dried out like it was yesterday chicken,came with 2 sides and they were out of everything I asked for, got 2 orders of dry Cole slaw to go with the dried out chicken. Really poor experience, girl behind the counter was helpful, but nothing can help the food I was served.

Chicken,macaroni salad and coleslaw very good. Macaroni & cheese was nasty. Didn’t taste like there was any real cheese in it just coated in a tasteless cheese sauce. 1 bite and it went in the garbage.
