Great experience for our first time trying Indian food, the owner was very courteous, ready to answer any questions we had.The food was made FRESH and in a timely manner. We tried murg makhani (butter chicken), chicken biryani and shrimp curry, everything was very flavorful.glad to have found this little hole in the wall, will definitely be coming back!

India Palace is hands down the best and most authentic Indian food in Lubbock. The owner, Paul, has been a local business owner and sole employee for as long as I can remember, and his amazing food and generous spirit make this place a must have for me as often as possible!

I got samosas and the murg murch masala. Everything was great and the man was very nice. He is the only one running the place so it took some time but it was well worth the wait! The samosas were some of the best I’ve had and I will definitely be back!

The food was really outstanding. The location seems dated, but that should be of no concern the service and menu are great. Everything is made to order so if you are in a rush might i suggest waiting until you are not or perhaps calling in for take out.

I couldn’t believe how great the food tastes. I have been all over this country and no Indian food is better than this. My family and I will never eat anywhere else when visiting Lubbock. The gentleman working was very kind! All I can say is thank you for the wonderful meal.

The food was great, the service was pleasant and helpful. The meal took longer than expected to arrive and the decor/atmosphere was very dated. The booth seats aren’t very comfortable and the table was not well-cleaned. It had visible food residue and was sticky to the touch.

Really disappointed. We arrived around 7:20 on a Friday night. The place was empty except one was one other table with a group.

Delicious and amazingly authentic Indian restaurant. The restaurant is cozy and charming with lots of Indian decor. The owner was very patient with our toddler who was not behaving well at the time. The owner was cooking and serving on this quiet Monday, but we were very taken care of. I got some Indian tea which most places won’t refill. He refilled it until I had to tell him that I had enough! I’m looking forward to going again next time I am in town
