Pizza Pronto has really gone downhill and it’s really disappointing since it’s so close to us and we really want to support it and the pizza used to be good! The past multiple times we ordered ( we keep ordering hoping we will end up getting a good one ) they literally don’t put ANY sauce at all.. There’s literally like an inch+ layer of cheese and no sauce and I’ve never even seen a pizza made like this… We even started ordering the pizza with “extra sauce” because of this and they just will not put any on. I don’t know what the problem is it makes the pizza like really chewy and gross. So disappointing.

We ordered the Gourmet Greek pizza and it was anything but Gourmet! The crust was undercooked, topping was carelessly thrown on, clumps of feta on one piece and none on the next, a pile of onion on one piece and not much more on the other pieces, whole olives, rather being sliced, just all around sloppy pizza!!! It doesn’t feel good to eat something that looks like a toddler made it! To be fair, we are regular customers and never had a problem in the past. I wanted to call and find out what happened, new cook maybe? Unfortunately it was the owner who made the pizza! He was just as nasty as the pizza that he made himself! I’ve NEVER been talked to so rude by a restaurant worker or owner! It was so embarrassing on his behalf! What a slug….

Their pizza is excellent, it really is. It actually saddens me to have to cut them loose and find an alternative. I’ve tolerated chronic lateness on delivery orders and other oddities (like a pizza that had obviously been dropped, with the toppings clinging to one side of the box) because it is so good. This latest issue somehow broke my spirit… Extra large, half pepperoni, half sausage. It shows up ten minutes late (yeah, whatever) and I open it to find half plain cheese with the other half having both the pepperoni and the sausage. Sorry, but I’m out.

I’ve passed this place for a couple years before I thought to give it a try and I don’t know why I waited so long. I would say they are a little pricey, but not compared to the area; just for my taste. Either way, I was super impressed with the quality of the two gourmet pizzas I purchased which were the Pronto’s Original Pizza and the Roasted Eggplant pizza. Wow! I was so impressed with with the quality of the toppings and the crust was so crispy and not hard at all. Perfectly baked! I couldn’t have been more impressed. And I had to drive it all the way back to Ambridge before I got to taste them and they were still perfect! I will be back to try more off the menu!!

We ordered an Italian hoagie, BBQ wings, and pepperoni garlic rolls and everything was delicious! We arrived at 8pm and the dining room was closed but being that we live in Fox Chapel we really didn’t want it to go so he opened the dining room back up for us! Amazingly friendly and customer focused place! I will go back every time I have the chance!

My wife ordered a special deal and then my sister ordered a special deal they tried to say we could not order another special. It was one per person. Then I get to the store to pick up food and they were rude and one order was ready then I had to wait another 10 mins or so for my sister when they ordered one after another.
