So I went to Mr. B’s Burger Pub today. I knew Mr. B., Alan, before he passed. A very nice man. His family still runs the place. I got the Bacon Mushroom Melt, with fries. They also offer chips. The burger was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The fries, well I loved them. They are coated with a seasoning, not just plain old fries. I can definitely say it’s my favorite burger place.

Mr B’s is a little gem in the Arlington area (Pantego to be exact). Their burgers are huge and their fries are seasoned well. This place is on my list of top 5 in Arlington for burgers. Mrs Vicki is also one of the sweetest owners around too!

This bacon cheeseburger I had here was very good. The patty was well seasoned and it was put together nicely. I like that they make sure the cheese is perfectly melted before serving. I like places where I can get chips as a side as I get tired of fries. The service was excellent. There was one waitress taking care of the entire restaurant and she was prompt and very friendly despite being extremely busy. I will definitely come back here for a good burger and great service.

This place will not be around much longer. It serves over priced unseasoned burgers on small buns that aren’t quite toasted, small tomato slice and a couple pickles with a half teaspoon of mayo. Great service and delicious onion rings, but specialty burgers they should be ashamed of.

We have always liked this place but our last two visits have been disappointing. We ordered burgers and they were way undercooked. The waitress even pointed out that they were bleeding up through the cheese. They always made it right, but when you have waited for a long while for your order only to have to send it back, it’s not worth it. I spent over forty with tip. They don’t even toast their buns. I think I’ll find a new place.

I’ve been coming to this place for a long time, 10ish years. First off, absolutely awesome burgers, Major props to the cook. The fine people who own this place are hard working and amazingly compassionate. One of Arlington’s best kept secrets.
