We entered the Restaurant at 3pm and I see a worker eating by the bar. I finally located a waiter and asked if we can be seated outside. The waiter looked annoyed. After we were seated we proceeded to order appetizers. Appetizers came out timely but the best Is yet to come. We realize that we haven’t seen our waiter in about a half hr and we wanted to order entrees so I went inside to look for him but only seen the busboy. I explained to the busboy that we would like to order our entrees and I’m trying to locate our waiter or any waiter at this point but was told the waiter went home. I asked for the check and went to another restaurant to eat. It was embarrassing and hoping the owner makes the necessary changes otherwise i can’t see them being around much longer. I really hate to write reviews but this was a Rare experience.

I brought my mother here who has celiacs and will get very sick if she eats gluten… The server ensure us that her meal was gluten free multiple times…it was not and my mother got very sick. This is a health concern the management should be taking way more seriously.

Scena has the ability to be great. The only reason I am leaving 2 starts is because the bar tender Peter, was very respectful. Other than that, this restaurant is ridiculously over priced for below mediocre food. A small chicken Caesar salad was $26. You may as well go to one of the restaurants down the street who provide a meal for that price.

There were 4 off us. We had two salads. Both were extremely salty. Arugula was wilted. Meat balls were just okay. Tagliatelle was okay. Wine was excellent. The restaurant has a nice overall atmosphere. Food is disappointing compared to other restaurants at that price point.

I was curious about Scena after reading that it was created by a group that has other restaurants in the area. I came at about 5:00 pm and was seated outside. My martini was delicious. I then ordered the crispy artichoke. While anything fried is good, this had a salty sauce/olive oil scenario and could have benefited from an infusion of citrus or something sweet. My entree was the corn ravioli which was good, but again somewhat bland. I would have like martini #2, but my server had disappeared, despite the fact that there were only two tables. They could definitely be more welcoming and attentive.
