Very nice and clean establishment. Staff was great. Greeted me when I walked in and asked whenever I was ready to order, to let them know. I haven’t been to an Ivar’s in a while, so was a little surprised on the prices, but food was pretty good. Just much smaller portions than what I remember.

We ordered the fried scallops, Alaska cod fish and chips, and the clam chowder. The scallops were very oily and not crispy, also lacking both freshness and sweetness. The cod was okay, but it was overcooked and fell apart before we took a bite. The clam chowder was watery and bland, with no real clam flavor. Overall, the food was disappointing. I would rather pay a little more for better quality seafood.

It’s “official”… if you want Ivar’s just take a trip to the flagship restaurant downtown on the waterfront.. That is the only location where I can say is tops.. any other Ivar’s location I have instantly regretted going as soon as the “food” some out..
