Ordered jerk pork, cabbage, and rice &peas meal… cabbage was delicious not soggy overly seasoned.. jerk pork was dry and hard .. like it had been sitting out for a while. The actual jerk sauce was delicious but the meat was lack luster. The rice and peas was mushy and overcooked. The rum cake was delicious and the ginger and pineapple drink was homemade and refreshing. The cashier was friendly and the restaurant looked clean.

Okay first time ordering from here I got the jerk chicken Rasta pasta it was amazing everything was well flavored and portions that meal alone sold me, to order again. Which I did the second order was fry chicken and rice & peas, the chicken was indeed crispy but the flavor tasted like old oil and fish I did not enjoy this at all. I’m not someone who complains or even say anything so I went ahead and said maybe it was a bad day. So today I ordered the escovitch red snapper with rice & peas and 1 fritter. Which I only received the fish and rice. Before I start to even eat I can see so many scales left on the fish clearly stating it was not cleaned properly for a third time trying this restaurant I’m sad to say but I’m never ordering food from here again. My order was place in DoorDash and Uber eats! This has been one of the worse experiences I have ever had from a Caribbean restaurant!! Like someone needs to be checking the orders and food before selling and packaging for customers to eat because this was soo horrible that I had to force myself to eat it because I did not want to waste my money the sight of the fish had my skin crawling and itchy!!

I had higher hopes but the food was just okay. The seasonings were on point but the chicken was tough, the mac & cheese had a hard shell of cheese on top which was not very appetizing & the noodles were a little bland. The plantains were cooked really well. The rice was a tad bit mushy and I wasn’t really expecting that. The cabbage was seasoned really well. The fried bread was really really good. I bought a lot of food because I was excited to have authentic Jamaican food. My opinion about the texture of the food might also be biased because it was my first time. I just didn’t expect the chicken and mac to be so tough.

I’ve ordered Oxtail Rasta Pasta from here about thee times and it’s decent enough, I applaud this place for having the most very friendly, helpful staff I’ve seen from most places that serve Oxtail in ATL.

First let me start off by saying the young ladies that were there 7/14/23 had the most nastiest attitude there is. They made you feel so uncomfortable and acted as if the customers owed them something. I almost walked out and said forget it but the person I was getting it for really wanted it. I got an oxtail plate and curry chicken plate. The food was horrible the chicken was super dry no gravy…the oxtail had a burnt taste like you could tell they had been burnt and they mixed in with fresh gravy. They only give you 5 oxtail for $23 and charge $18 for extra. I will never go back I’ll stick to fireside on Bouldercrest. Waste of $40. The rice and peas didn’t even taste authentic.

Came in because I saw an advertisement for their Oxtail Rasta pasta. When u walk in, there’s a chalkboard advertising it and a pic. On the menu it has Rasta pasta with different sizes but doesn’t say the meat. So when I asked the girl up front, taller one, if they just had regular shrimp rasta, I could feel her vein burst in aggravation. So much that I asked her was that a dumb question or something. I’m aware most places would but it’s listed NOWHERE! That was very off-putting and probably why I wouldn’t rush back. There are 20 other places b4 u get to Moreland and I came from the west side to try this and I don’t need that.

New to Atlanta and haven’t found a good Jamaican place to eat. I pass this place on my way to work and decided to give it a try. I ordered the jerk chicken Rasta pasta, it was delicious! Very very flavorful, perfect seasoning and perfect spice. I will be back to try more menu items.

I got the jerk chicken meal with a side of mac and cheese and it was delicious! Everything was really well seasoned and the proportions were a good size. Since I live in the neighborhood, I’ll definitely come back again. 10/10 would recommend!

The brown stew chicken is delicious. The plantain were sweet and crispy on the edges just like I like them. However, the mac and cheese was just okay. Service was fast and friendly. The establishment was clean. I’ll definitely be back.

I was happy to see that this place was finally open. I ordered the conch fritters & 2 patties (ordered today). The conch fritters were a disaster! It had SHRIMP inside & no conch meat at all! I even asked if they added anything else to the fritters based on my experiences w/ other places. Doesn’t seem like the chef was happy to make them btw. I grew up eating conch fritters & didn’t experience the same joy as I normally do. Please take this item off the menu! *EDIT: I don’t have a problem w/ the restaurant doing it their way. Suggestions… call it a shrimp fritter instead of conch fritter (there’s no conch in it) or if someone asks how do you prepare it, be honest & share that!*
