Went in for dinner after work, wasn’t as crowded as a weekend or holiday, everything I normally pass, this place is packed. Food was great like always, our server was very patient and polite as we took a minute to decide wat we each wanted. Made sure our water was never fully out. And didn’t rush us out as it was close to closing.

Great customer service, very friendly and courteous. Kim Chee 7 is the best Korean food on the Oahu. Mixed plate special A and the Lunch special were super ono! The BBQ beef was tender and tasty. It’s just like the bbq meat at the old carnivals. The Meat Jun and dipping sauce was delicious. The BBQ chicken was seasoned and grilled perfectly. The serving portions are very generous. The kim chee side dishes rounded out the perfect meal. Highly recommend this place, you will be very happy eating here.

Hawaiian Style Korean BBQ hits DIFFERENTLY!!! Kim Chee #7 in Aiea is the spot!!!! Get Combo Plate B and you have enough food for two, SERIOUSLY!!! The portions are HUGE! Even more if you dine in. Endless banchan and great service!

Ordered the soft tofu Chigae and it’s HUGE compared to any other soup dish you’ve gotten from other places… be ready!! It’s got so much hearty good stuff like thick cut vegetables, huge shrimps, lots of seafood and big cubes of tofu. If you have a cold or are feeling cold, this is perfect!! I doubt that you’d finish it in one sitting so either share or expect to take the remainder home for another meal.

It’s pricey, even for the huge portions. I ordered ton katsu, shrimp tempora and meat jun. Ton katsu and meat jun are on the sweeter side which i didn’t really like. Bread crumbs on ton katsu isn’t patted on good enough. Everything falls apart right away. BBQ chicken and Kalbi are really good. Service is fast, attentive, friendly. No complains there. I probably won’t go back for Korean BBQ. To me it’s not much different than Yummy. Maybe I’ll try their ahi poke next time.
