Met up with some friends for lunch today. I really enjoyed Ichiban that was here since my high school days. Haruka is just as good and their menu is more expansive. Ordered a little bit of everything and was not disappointed at all. They will definitely have me has a repeat customer.

Haruka Sake & Sushi is truly a great Japanese restaurant. The food is amazing, excellent service, with a relaxing atmosphere. The Lobster roll was amazing, and the ikura salmon roe was fresh and tasty. The 210 roll was very good, and the salmon skin salad was very good.

This place never fails to satisfy my sushi cravings. They have a very variable menu. The place is always sparkling clean. There is plenty of free parking. Very kind staff and ALWAYS fresh sushi. I was a bit sad after Ichiban closing because I thought I’d miss the deep fried white rolls but honestly, I could live without it. Haruka offers much healthier and less greasy options.

It was newly opened, so I had lunch with my friends yesterday. Haruka means spring fragrance in Japanese. Like the name of the restaurant, Cherry Blossoms welcomed us at the entrance of the door.

While the interior was large and mostly empty (late lunch hour), the experience was a bit underwhelming. The sashimi salad featured small cuts of fish that looked like the unused pieces from a roll. The prices were quite high for the amount of fish and the quality was average. It was decent sushi that was overpriced compared to similar restaurants (see my other reviews). Still spent nearly $50 per person for lunch without ordering any alcohol. I kept a four-star rating since anything lower is ruinous but I would say skip this one.

Delicious food and quick service. Decently packed during the lunch hour. The lotus roll and Mexican roll were perfect. My colleague got the cucumber roll (no rice) and found it to be good.

This visit was much better than the many previous ones. The place was nearly packed. The soft shell Crab rolls were wrapped tightly and did not unrave like they used to. It’s looking like we’ll be going there more often.
