The Woodhouse Restaurant has been a steak and seafood restaurant here in Grabill, IN since 2019. We specialize in steak, surf & turf, smothered chicken, Gma’s Amish meatloaf, and more. We started this business because there was a need for a restaurant in town and we are located in the heart of Amish country. We’re looking forward to partnering with New Haven, Fort Wayne, Roanoke, and surrounding area consumers to continue to offer a premier steakhouse experience. We’d like to personally invite you to stop by for a fun and friendly night, or stop by Friday or Saturday from 8am-4pm for a hearty breakfast or lunch!

The food was good!! Prices were good. Despite 1 waitress and 2 cooks, a party group in the back and a 16 top came in the front, they managed to get everyone fed, and our waitress was great!!! Potato salad was excellent. Steak was thin but cooked perfect, meatloaf is different but good. Want to try the chicken. Almost got the all you can eat crab legs and they let you take the steak and sides home (was only about $48), looked awesome!! Reno to the building is nicely done!!

They’ve recently(a few months) opened for breakfast on Friday and Saturdays. It is outstanding. Good food. Large portions. And affordable for the portion sizes. Service is really quick and good.

Great food in a small town. The first time there the food was good.We returned to try it again and I have to change my review. My meal was fine but my husband’s was not. Service was good but the County fried steak was small and salty. His salad was way smaller than mine and old looking. I wanted the crab salad on the menu but was told the stopped serving that a long time ago. Take it off the menu. Doubt that we will go back.

Delightful clean Restaurant and very reasonable prices. We were promptly greeted by the sweetest young lady who took our drink orders. Salads were delivered in no time and had fresh ingredients and their homemade Poppy Seed Dressing was spot on in flavor. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and smothered with cooked onions and mushrooms. No messy sauces covered the steaks or vegetables which was a blessing because you could actually taste the flavor of the meat and veggies without having extra Sodium added to the meal! We also had a very pleasant conversation with the Manager Marty. We will definitely be going back to the Woodhouse!

We ate there last night for first time staff Martin and Rosseta were fantastic, Martin came out of kitchen and talked to all customers. The food was hot very flavorful, they have crab legs, lobster tails, steaks at very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this place.

Bread is good, cheese curds good, fish tasted old and looked bad, T-bone was a 3/8 of an inch thick. No flavor and gristley. Overall not very good.

I will say the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The waitress did a great job with our orders. If my review were based on the staff it would be 5 stars but we came for the food and that was a disappointment. Everything was underwhelming. The hamburger, steak, fries and fish. The bread was the bright spot of the meal. I would try the place again possibly for breakfast but not for dinner.
