Interior is not the nicest, but the friendliness and efficient staff along with the delicious NYC Chinatown style food makes up for the decor. The portions are a nice size too. Worth a try. We will return.

Service was extraordinary, prompt and really friendly staff. It was a really enjoyable atmosphere and superb food, the wonton soup was really tasty and both the pepper steak and the beef with Chinese vegetables were very nicely done. Also, the price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food and quality.

I can’t even remember the last time I was here, it was around when I was a teenager. They have nice TVs for watching football, and I hope they continue to make such delicious food. I normally get take out from here, and they are very prompt when preparing your order. I haven’t had Hot & Sour Soup since around 2007 when I lived in Richmond. Their Orange Chicken is the best, in my opinion.

Food was highly priced & had hair in our crab rangoons! The chicken teriyaki looked uncooked and was white! It didn’t looked grilled like a teriyaki on a stick should look like. We tried calling back for a refund but unfortunately they’re closed…We are totally disappointed to spend over $50.

Terrible!! And way over priced. Nothing I got looked like traditional Chinese food. 3 items 48.00$ plus delivery! Never again. I found a long black hair in my crab Rangoon. Never again you have NO idea what you’re eating!!

I’ve been going to lucky palace for years. I love their food and order it all of the time, their staff is super nice and a lot of these one star reviews are exaggerated and assumptions. The food is always great, one review noted the place was empty, that’s probably because many people get takeout. Also another review that was angered that their food came later than expected is annoying to see. It’s not the places fault that other people ordered before you, sorry your food came late but that doesn’t mean it’s a one star restaurant.

Last night I watched the football games with my father and we called to order food at about 445. They told us that it would be an hour and 15 minutes it arrives at about 645. So we took the food in and we ordered three things. They were very unaccommodating. Very short, Curt and rude. We asked for some pineapples on the side for a duck dish that we ordered which was nothing that we expected. They sent a piece of plain dock with nothing on it whatsoever and we wanted sweet-and-sour sauce and pineapple. They said they couldn’t do it I offered to pay for each. Don’t order from this place and don’t go to this place it’s not good it hasn’t been good. I’ve been there three times in the past eight years and every time I go there I say why am I eating here. Don’t go to this restaurant.

Awful. Don’t go here….Never thought there was such a thing as bad chinese food. The first 3 items we ordered…they were out of inventory. Should have been our first clue to leave. The first clue actually was a sign on the door “prices are different than price in menu”. ????? Fried dumpling app was so over fried…you couldn’t even cut through them. Entree was lukewarm on one side of plate and hot on the other…shrimp on lukewarm side of plate not fully cooked We stopped at that point…asked for check…paid bill and left. Place was empty. Others must have tried it before we did.
