Was her for the Mother’s Day brunch. The location is very nice and the views were great. The setup of the buffet was good but a bit limiting considering the $110 per person. The desserts tasted like they were sitting out for awhile and I thought there could’ve been a larger selection of hot foods.

This restaurant was an odd one for us… The decor is definitely outdated and they are selling paintings from a local artist I guess but it’s a little tacky. The restaurant was practically empty other than the people on the patio. They leave the patio doors open to the water and fountain and grass which brings in a ton of bugs… There were 2 servers and a manager serving. We definitely had a rocky start but the food speaks for itself! The manager made it very clear that our service was his top priority and he really stepped up in the nick of time. Food was some of the best we have had so far! Praises Palo Verde!

~Drinks ! Whoa , I realize that your probably paying for Ambiance; but the 2 bartenders, fed me a “line” like I just turned 21 yesterday & started drinking.

We live across the street and had never known about Palo Verde, we have been to the Grill at the Boulders quite a few times. The weather, ambiance, service and food were all perfection! I heard it closes for summer, we must have been the last guests. Can’t wait to go back

We had breakfast here almost every morning of our stay at The Boulders. The Sonoran Sunrise was our go-to favorite along with bottomless mimosas (try the white peach…it’s amazing) but I also tried the French Toast and the Huevos Tacos …the PV Benedict was enjoyed by my boyfriend too!

The diners next to us put it best; this is a golf course grill or cafe trying to be fine dining. Service started off great, but as they got busier, it fell off a bit. Cocktails were outstanding but a bit pricy. Ordered a glass of wine and server just left the carafe on the table. Took a bit to get the check. The first course salad and winter squash soup was very good. Entrees were presented nicely but were just good, not great.

While staying at the Boulders resort, we knew we wanted try all the restaurants on site. Palo verde was our choice for dinner the second night. I got online to peek at the menu before going. I like reading reviews to see what folks ordered and enjoyed. Not going to lie, the mixed reviews had me a bit nervous. We know not every good experience gets a review, usually just bad ones, so we went to find out for ourselves. We were greeted and seated, by name, by our hostess, Carolyne. Our server, Jaylene was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made a special trip to the bar to see if they carried a certain liquor for my husband’s cocktail. She also made a special trip to see if they carried any Malbec wines. She was able to find a red blend and bring me a sample. It was very close to a Malbec. Richard, the restaurant manager, had informed us it was a blend of like 32% Malbec grapes. His knowledge and friendliness was a big part of our wonderful experience there. Not to mention the food was amazing. We ordered / split the beef tenderloin. It was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. It was so well done, I’m certain we will return before we leave town. From the service to the local artwork, the cocktails to desert, Palo Verde was a great experience. I certainly hope you’ll give this place a try soon.

Palo Verde had just reopened (for breakfast only) for our trip to the Boulders this week. We are so thankful that we got to experience the food and atmosphere here! Our breakfasts were the highlight of our days and we came back every morning during our stay. Staff were friendly and attentive. My wife and I enjoyed our meals so much that we ordered the exact same thing each day! In hindsight maybe I should have explored other options but why change something you are 100% satisfied with? The chorizo potatoes were flavorful, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the multigrain toast was oddly one of my favorite parts of the meal. Would highly recommend!

The pork belly Benedict was extremely vinegary to the point that, to me, it tasted rancid. The pork belly itself was tasty but the hollandaise was not good in my view. The fries chicken and waffles was tasty and well cooked.
