I wish Maxwell was in our neighborhood. While helping friends in the area, I had to take home food for my family and decided to stop by for their pies. Best decision made. They have gluten free pizza and it tastes awesome! The pizza shop also has tons of space for dine in and a great staff.

We were upset finding out that Maxwell’s is no longer. A favorite was the Mediterranean Wrap which is no longer available as Tavern Pizza. We did enjoy a margherita pizza. We did not get our waters. The restaurant was fairly empty. The pizza was good.

Yay! New ownership of Maxwell’s! My last visit was a few months ago and the place had gone downhill. I am glad we went back today! New owner, Dan, was welcoming and explained some of the great changes he has made and plans for the future. I’m really glad because it’s a great local place with lots of space, great food, good beer selection (and Dan’s a beer guy so looking I’m looking forward to finding new things on tap and in the takeout coolers).

Bio Ol’ Cheese Pizza was solid. Well executed tavern pie. Crisp bottom with a good chew, cheese and sauce to the edge. Really good cold next morning as well.

Greeted by new owner Dan when I stopped in to grab my pepperoni pie. He was super down-to-Earth and seemed to genuinely want to know what my daughter and I thought about changes he was implementing. The pizza was great, I dunno exactly how but it seemed higher-quality than pizza I got at Maxwell’s previously; like it was more substantial. Great staff, great food and their online ordering is so much better than some other local places. We will be back for sure!

We ordered the Margarita Pizza. We got just pizza with a few diced tomatoes. Looked nothing like any Margarita pizza I’ve ever had. No drizzle as advertised. The pizza was average tasting at best. We got sandwiches too and the portions were a bit small. We heard good things and wanted to try this place. Needless to say we won’t order from there again. I feel like we wasted our money.

Pizza very good. Service really poor.starters were served over 15 minutes one st a time. We had 2 pizzas for our group, they were sent out 15 minutes apart.
