Used to be a favorite of mine. Keep making changes for the worse. No grill outside for sausages was the first. Redone refrigerator counters now you can’t select cold salads was the second. Now the monitor tvs as menus all made it worse. Big thing is food is going downhill fast. Fat Marco polo today with almost no meat. Sad to say but my last trip to one of my all time favorites. It’s a joke now.

Still a cute & cozy little spot. Also it’s very clean but the food is not what is used to be. Staff was arguing loudly. Had the Marco Polo sandwich and it was lacking in meat and dressing. I have a picture from years ago where it looked much different. Wish I would have taken another to show comparison. It’s all bread and the bread is so hard and stale I could barely bite through it. Pasta was good. Strawberry cake had toasted coconut on it that was burnt and black, lacking any strawberry flavor. I miss the old Marco Polos. Asked about bread, they don’t constructive criticism well.

This has always been a favorite for my wife and I. Whenever we are in the area we always stop without fail. It just seems like the past few times that the amount of meat on the Fat Marco Polo just keeps getting less and less. The sandwich I received Friday was delicious, but almost seemed like it was a bun with dressing and a meat coating.

The best Italian restaurant! From the time you walk in to the time you leave your treated like family. The calamari was perfectly cooked. I has the Scampi Alla Livornese with angel hair pasta. The cream sauce covering the pasta to the shrimp cooked perfectly is so delicious and flavorful. I could eat it everyday and never get tired of it. My daughter had the Linguini Alla San Remo without the calamari and not to spicy! The shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly and that sauce is full of flavor. The dinner salads are fresh, crisp and properly dressed with dressing. Love the option to add blue cheese. For dessert I had chocolate cake made with mayonnaise. It’s so moist and decadent. My daughter had the cookies and cream ice cream cover in a chocolate coating. So good! The portions are huge and you will definitely will have leftovers for the next day. Jasper and the whole staff go beyond to make sure you have a great dinning experience. I always enjoy when Jasper comes by and makes sure everything is on point and chat. Thank you!
