Brothers in law Jesse and Laurance are bringing some variety to the late night food scene in Missoula.
Whiz Kid makes the famous no fuss cheesesteak (or cheeseshroom) sandwich you desire!
We use only Amoroso rolls direct from Philadelphia, to anchor our cheesesteak in its hometown roots. With this iconic bread as a base, combined with the best ingredients available in Montana, we craft a delicious sandwich unique to the Mountain West.
We offer just a couple of sides to enhance your meal.
First we have hand cut, fried corn chips seasoned with our very own blend of chili cheese spices. Second is a dill pickle. Enjoy them both to round it out and satisfy your cravings to the max!

I haven’t had a lot of cheesesteaks in my life but the sandwich I just ate was “bussin” as the kids say! I got the beef option with sweet peppers, onions, and American cheese. I’ll probably have another one this weekend, it was so good! My partner is stoked to try the mushroom one and is hoping for a vegan cheese option at some point! Online ordering was super easy and the estimated pick up time was spot on. Love that it’s not a dry sandwich at all!! 10/10 recommend. Another great late night eats in town since we lost so many in the pandemic.

I never understood why everyone loved cheesesteaks. Every time I had one the meat was dry and it was underwhelming. Until I had Whiz Kids cheesesteak. This is not only the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. It is the best sandwich in Missoula. And the homemade chips are fantastic. I can’t wait to come here again and again. Love it!
