This unassuming little place in what appears to be a rather rough neighborhood is without a doubt the single best hot dog place I have ever been. The perfectly cooked dogs come out of the wrapper ready for a photo shoot,and the gyro is the tastiest on wonderful fresh pita. Even the fries were cooked to perfection. The cook is a true artist that cares to put out the absolute best product he can.

I love this low key spot. It has the best hot dogs and polishes in Rockford. I asked for no tomato but i decided to try it since they added it anyway and it wasn’t bad they add a refreshing taste.

Ordered a gyro pizza and very scimpi on the gyro meat, pizza was cold. I’d suggest a better marinara sauce, gyros we ordered for the kids were very good. I ordered a patty melt no pickles and the first bite I could taste pickle as if they premade this and just took pickles off. It’s an ok establishment but could be better. Just my opinion of course.

Really good hot dogs. I got 2 hotdogs with fries and a drink all for $11. Great deal. The cashier was super friendly. If you work by here I really recommend going for lunch!

Last minute decision to stop here and venture outside the comfort zone…so I ordered two meals. I ordered One Patty Melt & One Gyro Meal. I initially stopped there because I seen the sign for the gyros. Instantly I was craving the cucumber sauce. I was highly disappointed to find out my Gyro which was supposed to have everything on it…onions and tomatoes…and NO Cucumber Sauce!!! I had to eat a DRY Gyro. I could not believe there was no sauce on my Gyro. The onions were dry and thin and tomatoes were about the same. The only thing that saved it was the lamb meat (generous amount) & Pita bread. I am not sure how the Patty Melt was because it wasn’t for me. The french fries were decent but no salt. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly. I did tell her it was my first time there. Also the outdoor Patio was very inviting. The plants and flowers around the patio and building gave it a cozy feel. I would have given four stars if my food would’ve come as it should have.

Yhe hot fries were excellent. The hot dogs were not hot, room temperature to cold. The ends of the buns were very stale and hard. A year ago they were a 5star. Now they are a two, only because the fries were excellent. Otherwise they would get 0-star, especially the cost for a 2-dog meal special. Way to exspensive!!

Ever since my go-to Chicago Dog restaurant closed I’ve been on a search for a place in Rockford that does Chicago Dogs right (not as easy as one may think) and I finally found the spot! They serve up the perfect dog with just the right combo of toppings and crunch.
