I’m so happy this place is within walking distance of my home. I can’t wait to try the other items on the menu! This is the Uruguayan steak. Breaded and stuffed with ham/cheese. WOW was it good! Very friendly associates greeted me when I walked in. Plenty of seating if you have a big group of people with you. Most places I’ve had yuca from are very bland and plain however not here! I’m not sure what they added to it but it was very tasty. The draft beer was served in a chilled glass. Would highly recommend trying this dish to anyone reading this.

Did not like the place felt like a bar the food was not good I have never had fried cow with green and red peppers in it. The papa rellena had hardly any meat, and the desert of pudding was watery.

Been here in the Cape over 25 years and still haven’t tried this Cuban restaurant. We ordered to go and was pleasantly surprised by food taste and quality. Ordered chicken empanada, shredded beef empanada, onion bistek with side of yellow rice and sweet plantains and cuban flan for dessert. Steak was tender and seasoned well and so were empanadas. Portions were generous. Service was quick. Will return. Thank you.

I ordered food to go, and it was horrible, the food was cold, the meats were dried and extra salty ( we could not eat), the plantains were burnt, this is why I prefer not ordering food to go, even the portions are ridiculous. I saw how big the plates were while I was waiting for my food, and the to go box portions was not what I expected. Seriously can’t stand people like this. They play with your money. I basically paid $11-16 for sides because we hardly had any meats.I spent $75 for 4 plates and 2 sides, and I regret it.

Went here for a work lunch. We were the only people there – 5 of us. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pictured below is the steak sandwich a fried egg on it. Shredded beef and fried yucca and sweet potato chips. All of it was very good! They have Jarritos to drink also. The meal prices were in the $8 range for lunch. Priced right for the quality and amount. I could only eat 1/2 my sandwich. It was huge. They have a lot of items to try at this Cuban restaurant. I will be back and recommend it to all. And if you’re feeling cheeky they have a social media wall that you can get a photo in front of.
